Open space mmo VR

As an older gamer I grew up with elite this is basically X2 in VR in an mmo setting. There are 3 factions in a very vast world it has commerce, pvp, pve mining and player VS AI. It has faction based events like defend the capitol ship. It's a slower paced game, fairly relaxing and easy to get into. Devs are updating this and appear to be moving away from the old model and pushing vr and the quest option. It's surprisingly good for quest gfx wise and size wise. If your into Sci fi then this is definitely your game. I have some videos up on slightlymad79 YouTube https://youtu.be/YcNkszXMHxM?si=rxOV2bp76z-4pjPe If you do purchase some of the controls need to be manually set like target nearest enemy as they were not made for quest, you also need to raise your floor level in boundary options to your Knees if your playing seated or you will not be seated in the cockpit correctly.

Partially adapted to VR

This is a decent non-VR game that feels only halfway adapted to VR. There are still many references to keyboard controls, poorly translated missions in Spanish (possibly due to incorrect UTF-8 encoding), and a broken interface where ship components stick out on the left side. I'll wait for these issues to be fixed—games shouldn't be released in this unfinished state.

Bad control system terrible HUD...

If you've ever played elite dangerous you know What the inside of a spaceship should look like and feel like. The interface on this is not for VR. I feel like it is designed for a flat screen and then retrofitted very badly for VR. The interface is terrible. The keys that you have to hit on the controller are not intuitive and hard to remember.. The radar system with the whole front and back thing is horrible. It is 2D disguised as 3D and that is why you have to have two one for the front and one for the back. I am looking now to figure out how to return this.

Awesome!

Bit expensive for an applab game but worth it to have vendetta online in native Oculus quest 2. Take my money! 8D (Suggest for developers : You should announce it in your official page (and other media) and put a link to oculus store as done in others versions. Oculus quest is a best seller with a lot of people wanting this game working in native mode. Thank you very much for your work!

Budget no man’s sky needs some make-up

From what I know this has been around for a long time on other devices. I recently bought and have had a decent time with a couple frustrating instances. You need a bit of an imagination to make this work because the look and mechanics of the game are really dated. You can have a great time but most of it is just stationary flying in a direction for minutes at a time with not much going on around you, which is expected from space exploration but lacks any sort of real excitement. It may be the best for its time but without taking steps to upgrade this heavyweight. It sits on the back of the shelf behind all the shiny new titles. Even with official release this will be for a niche market that are either already hardcore vendetta players or people who enjoy the retro feel and text of an older game. 6/10
