Games been updated and it’s amazing.

Forget the negative reviews from the past, we’re gonna talk about right now. Games graphics been changed to a more realistic, polished look and it’s great, punches are cleaner and bugs have been for sure deleted as the gameplay is clear as day, bruises and damage are looking good and the new character is also very challenging and hard to beat. I like the ragdolls and how fun it is for you to be able to punch them on the ground, overall the game is a 9/10 and it’ll will get better in the future as the developers are back to working on this game.

So as someone who has played creed and totf, 100-200+ hours of totf mainly , this game is amazing !!!! The crown jewel of this game is the AI movement, bobbing , weaving, amazing defensive and offensive movement. As someone who use to play totf everyday and got burnt out trying to to beat money maker on outclassed lol , this game was what I needed . Some criticisms of the hit detection outside of the play area didn't bother me , you just had to back up to get your opponent back in the play area , which I liked because it forced me to move and think about my footwork , that being said I would play in pass through mode , because your opponent goes out enough that I would have punched my wall if not lol . I burned 300 calories in 30mins , so 600 calories a hour , and this was me just playing the game not trying to go hard or anything . Really enjoyed the 15 second brakes , forced you right back into the fight . loved after you knocked opponent out , they got up after 6's ready to fight no messing around . Which brings me to the only thing I'd add to this game , a iron chin setting or a iron chinned opponent, basically something so you couldn't knock out your opponent. I've probably played way to many hours of vr boxing , the amazing movement and defensive skills of the opponents threw me off , but I was able to knock them out pretty easily . I'd just like a opponent I couldn't knock out , so I could test my boxing skills to see if I could win a decision on the judges score cards . To the developers , your game is amazing , u don't need multiplayer till way later , u don't need amazing environments or crowds , you already have the best AI movement in VR boxing , double down on that , add some more opponents, add some different difficulty levels and you will have the best VR Boxing game out there ! Sorry about the long post , I'm just really passionate about vr boxing and this game has the building blocks to be the #1 VR Boxing game , best of luck hope this game goes to the moon !

So Far So Good

I have Creed and The Main Event and this one is the closest to actual real boxing yet. The other 2 have some predictable tells in them that make it easier to win but this one doesn’t seem to do that, it seems to know your moves. It counters and is offensive. Can’t wait for the full version to be released.

Update Changes Everything

I have been playing Thrill of the Fight 1.0 since its release many years ago. The single player has been a major part of my workout. Unfortunately the new one went the multiplayer route and completely forgot about single players. So I've been trying to find something more modern that can get the job done. The last update of Ultra changes everything. It has now replaced TOTF in my workout. The fighters don't just move back and forth, but in all directions. The roll and move around. This adds a whole new dimension. The graphics are a huge improvement over TOTF as well. Another game changer is that Ultra remembers your fights and you can compare your performance as you go. I was able to measure the difference in my punches wearing a Cobra Strap and having my arms free. I found that amazing and worth the measly cost of the simulation. It supports MR which is a must at this point. No one wants to punch a wall. Unfortunately, as of this writing, the fighters are not aware of where my walls and furniture are and sometimes they go through the wall when you are trying to get them against it for pounding. It would be great to have a fight all around your place. The only other drawback is that you can't set round times yet, which seems like a small oversite that could be fixed in a day and I'm sure will be before final release. Unlike TOTF 1, you can't control various settings of your opponents, but you do have the ability to turn off knock downs as well as knockouts and that's HUGE. If you like experimenting and don't want your opponent to go down or maybe yourself, it's a simple click. I would love to see hand tracking added. My problem with all VR boxing games is that you are not holding your fist correctly because you have a controller in it. Anyways, this simulation is easily worth the price. Check it out.

Great game

This game is really fun for me when I just want to put on my VR headset and blow off some steam it is very realistic the AI is very smart the game tracks how hard you punch so it is accurate whenever the AI is knocked out I am in contact with one of the developers and I know that this game is going to go somewhere great game you should get it
