Very shallow.

While the submarine is pretty cool the game play is very shallow. The campaign is very short and the 'world' is just the same exact thing over and over again. No matter where you go in the world you are going to see the exact same harbor when you get there with the exact same four boats to sink. There is literally no replay ability even before you finish the campaign as you just do the same thing over and over. Could have been good if they put in the effort to actually craft a world and a variety of scenarios. But they didn't. On top of that the graphics are very crude and it leaves what there is of the world feeling very flat. Don't waste your money.

Can I get a refund...on my time!

I love shooters and exploration games,but this game sucked me in for hours. On solo I just cruised and played in the u boat,and multiplayer I laughed so hard,the guy smoking 20 cigarettes and threw pipes,we had a banana fight then I handed TNT to a new guy and he accidentally set it off...we all died,my kids thought something was wrong with how hard I was laughing. I love shooting at British with the artillery, This game is the bees knees,add a Luger on a shoulder holder and some dudes on the enemy ships in a the future update pls,that would be saucy,and also I wish I would insta die if the u boat dives and I'm topside,lol. This game is a super fun gem

Great game, solo player

I love this game and go to it quite often when I wear my VR. Lately I've been playing a lot of solo free roam and now have over 27 million tons sunk. On free roam pick an area, then go to the radio room and turn in the radio, tune it in and you'll get a morse code signal. Go to the map and you'll see where the ships are located. The only thing I don't like is if you take a while to set up to get to a convoy or a ship, the game resets the ship locations. Usually to the other side of the map. Sometimes you have to adjust where you are to grab controlls, a little glitchy there. Still a great game.

The most immersive & detailed game 🤩❤️

This is the first ever review I’ve been bothered to write in over half a decade of playing VR. Playing this masterpiece of a game after watching Das Boot for the first time hits DIFFERENT. If you surrender yourself to this, you too will find yourself randomly uttering lines from the film (in german no less). I can tell how much of a labour of love this was for the devs what with the painstaking details, modelling, features, and true to era accuracy. I’m eternally grateful for such an incredible experience. You have my undying loyalty & support as a fan.

Phenomenal.

I tell you what... I set a course, and my buddy ran the engines, while I went up on watch. My GF made me a cup of tea, and as I was standing there, sipping my tea and watching the horizon as we cruised along the sea, I realized that since Silent Hunter II i've wanted to do this, to actually feel like i'm standing on a conning tower and being on watch. Thats over 20 years.
