Could be a good Tropico game…

… if all the annoying issues will be fixed. This is the full Tropico 4 game (yes, the one from 2011) ported to VR, with some great potential but many immersion breaking bugs & problems. The good: - Finally a proper city sim in VR. - Almost infinite replayability. - Being El Presidente is always fun. The bad: - Looks horrible, visibility distance and texture quaility (when zoomed out, like how you actually play) is horrible. - The water is somehow out of sync and looking at it for some time can cause mild VR sickness. - Some additions to the original game makes no sense: buildings snap to roads but become out of grid doing so, the new road tool with additional nodes messes up the road planning. I really hope the devs keep maintaining & updating this game and it’s not just a money grab. Even the 3 stars feel a bit much for the current state, but wanted to emphasize the potential to become great.

Good potential, needs some fixes.

Game's pretty good. It's Tropico 4, just in VR. However , the artifacting from AppSW is very noticable. I would much prefer an option to run the game at a native 72hz, even if it comes at the cost of resolution. I also noticed the water can be a different shade for each eye, which is distracting and needs a fix.

Graphics need help bad

It is blurred pixled in the game not enjoyable and the water don't look at it will mess with your eyes I gota refund for now that's not enjoyable to me and I like tropico games but even the quest game optimizer couldn't make the blurr go away...please fix and I'll get it after its fixed sorry devs 8 mins in and eyes was hurting

My Hardest Refund-Request Ever

Tropico 4 was one of my favorite city builders on the PC. It was with heavy heart that I had to conclude - it's just not release-ready on the Quest3. So I requested a refund. If I hear of this changing, I'll re-buy. 1. Graphics are horrendous. The level of aliasing of 3d lines is unforgivable. Games with significantly more complicate graphics look far nicer. This is true up close, but dramatically worse at a distance. 2. The 3d transform is buggy as heck. Specifically, the left-eye and right-eye view of the ocean is out-of-sync. This was the smaller issue, but the larger reason for my refund request. The "cheap optical illusion" feeling it gave my eyes led me to become disoriented quickly. I wanted to spend 8 hours on Tropico. I barely made 18 minutes before I realized I had to request a refund. Please fix these issues and let me know, and you'll get an instant re-buy. Till then, I just can't trust the game is ready (or will ever be). (Note: Second star was entirely based on how good the original game was)

Multiplayer ?

This VR version looks promising ,the visuals are a bit rough but hey,its great being able to play this in VR. My only concern is that I wasnt able to find the multiplayer mode. Was this feature abandonned ?
