Amazing beginning with huge potential

I stumbled across traVRsal sometime ago when it was labelled 'Out or Dead' on SideQuest. Along with 'Tea for God' it really blew my mind and to me showed exactly what the Quest was designed for (Untethered Gaming) utilising roomscale with the ability to physically walkaround in the games environment. I subsequently joined the Discord and have to say that the community (although currently small) has been extremely helpful especially the developer. With his guidance I have been able to create my own games 'Hunt the Button' and 'The Tower' all with no previous game design, coding or even unity experience. Yes as has been said there are some bugs still being worked on as well as more importantly content !! But traVRsal continues to show what can be done with no experience whatsoever. I am confident that this is a game/development platform that will continue to add content and grow. Whilst this maybe seen as a slightly biased review the potential alone is unique enough to deserve the 5 stars I have given it.

AMAZING!!!!

I have over 185 games and not one can do what this one does! It's absolutely amazing! YOU actually, physically walk around (In real life) in the game while being on an adventure! It keeps you from banging into walls & furniture if you draw your guardian correctly. The minimum space you need is 6 and a half feet by six and a half feet but it will work (sort of) if you're a little under. The bigger your space to play in, the bigger the game will get. It automatically adjusts to your guardian.

Game changer!

Honestly this is the best experience I've had on the Quest 2 so far! Of course it's still early days, so the graphics aren't breathtaking, and some of the features need some small tweaking...but my God the concept is amazing and executed so perfectly! This is the next level of immersion, motion sickness is a thing of the past! My lounge can actually transform into a pyramid, spaceship, or castle tower. I cannot wait to see what comes next, I pray Oculus sees the immense potential that traVRsal has. Please help the developers make this everything it can and should be!

Free?!

How is this game free?! This game is amazing! This is like a virtual escape room, hidden object finder, and shooter all wrapped in one. You can play with friends and the game will transform your actual play space into a whole other world. Why are there not more vr games taking advantage of this idea?! This game is worth it even if they change the price to $15-$20 in my opinion. Get it while it is still free! Please give us a custom map editor soon! :)

What a great experience!

With the Quest 1/2/... being a wireless standalone headset, why is this not on the official store yet? It is, in my view, the perfect representation of what is possible when one is able to freely move around in a play space! The future of VR, nothing less. The game is not perfect, it might occasionally stutter, but I really love it and come back to it for three reasons: 1. It is perfect for VR beginners who are not used to thumbstick movement, they can just walk around in real life, no motion sickness possible. Perfect game to showcase to a newcomer. 2. There are great possibilities for community enhancement! New content and levels can be, and are constantly, added to the game. Replayability, here I come. 3. It is taylor made for roomscale VR. Few controller button pushes, all hand interaction. Procedural level creation depending on your play area. Walking around in real life. Support for haptic feedback gear. This is what immersion feels like. Big studios, take a long hard look at yourselves, you have just been shown how to make a real game conceptualized for VR from the ground up. Please, push this to the official store!
