Solo Developers have made better games

This game is by no stretch of the imagination a good game. I don’t know what kind of mental gymnastics you’d have to do to give this anything higher than 2 stars. The graphics are horrible, which I suppose is kinda the Quest’s limitations fault, but still I feel like they could have looked at least a little better than this. There are game breaking glitches that prevent you from progressing tasks in your journal. I was unable to pick up the Cattail plant. The AI is really dumb and I even had one of the human enemies take cover behind literally nothing, but still performed animations as if they were hiding behind something when they were clearly exposed out in the open no where near any kind of cover. It also wasn’t that satisfying to shoot the enemies or stab them in stealth, it all just felt very unsatisfying, awkward, unpolished, and low budget. When you die the loading takes way too long every single time you die. It’s dumb that you can’t use your knife to attack the wolves, it’s a knife, therefore it should be possible to use as a weapon. The presentation and immersion feels shallow and low budget in ways that even games made by a solo developer don’t. The concept is cool, but the execution is mediocre at best. In its current broken and rough state I can’t in good faith recommend paying for this game. TLDR: Graphics are DooDoo Performance is PooPoo This was not ready for release If this was in early access and made by only one developer maybe I could be more forgiving and turn a blind eye, but this is just laughably bad and I personally am pretty tolerant for games that are made by small teams, but come on guys, this is no where near ready for release.

Insane Game!

It’s got some good action, survivals nice and guns are awesome! 5 star game for me. I got 5 hours in so far and the amount of content is unbelievable! Of course it’s got some small bugs, but nothing game breaking in my experience. Absolutely Love It!

Fantastic!!

I ignored this game for a long time, because for some reason I thought it was a hunting game. Hunting deer or rabbits in the woods. I guess I didn't really pay much attention. I'm glad I didn't...this past week I was very bored with VR. Couldn't find any new/decent games to play. I did a thorough search through the store, with it being on sale for $13 i thought, maybe i could see what kind of hunting experience it is. After reading it I was so mad at myself for ignoring it all that time. After playing it I vowed to never assume anything about a game again. I love everything about this game. The story is great, graphics, movement. Survival games are my favorite. I love having to make sure you eat and drink enough. Finding ingredients, making your own recipes. Upgrades, collectibles. Scavenging for items to craft. I love the ziplining, climbing and even the hunting. It's got everything. It's a long game too. I would have paid much more than $13 for it. It's definitely worth $30-$40. I don't leave alot of reviews, but I noticed this had less than 4 stars, which made no sense. I figured I'd throw my 2 cents in for anyone like me, looking for a good survival game. I didn't encounter any bugs or stuttering. It was smooth. I am playing on a quest 3s if that matters. Thanks for the awesome game!

Is it worth it?

Is it worth it? Absolutely, if you’re into survival games you’ll love this one! The crafting is one of my favorites, lots of things you can make. I also like the cooking part of it as well. The combat is fun and intense sometimes, it gets the blood flowing. there’s a lot of content and gameplay so you’ll be busy trying to survive.

Yuck, lost all excitement in minutes

First off I’m going to say. The polygon graphics have been gone since first crapstation. This game is bloody clunky at best. Gave me a knife, and took it away in seconds, leaving me with nothing for all other tutorials. I pushed through the crappy gameplay to the cabin, and after o realized I have to restart it, I was done. This is nowhere near as good as Green Hell, and I imagine Sony probably payed to get the first updates before anyone else. Making me instantly refund this crap. They also updated BulletStorm, and now runs like crap too. Still looks better than this though. Now just jumping all over the place sadly. Come on guys I know for a fact you can do better. The video doesn’t even look as bad as the game does. Maybe I’ll try it again later on, but probably only if it’s 99% off.
