🧗 Ambitious VR Climbing Adventure

The Climb Adventure is an ambitious climbing game that sits nicely between pure simulation and arcade gameplay. This indie title confidently steps into a space dominated by AAA experiences like The Climb and The Climb 2. It offers many varied levels with different atmospheres, keeping each climb fresh and engaging. The execution is great, and the sensation of climbing and pushing toward the summit feels very natural. A nice touch is how some routes lead to dead ends, forcing you to backtrack — just like real-life climbing. It’s quick to jump into, fun, and highly immersive from the start.

Climbing Fun with a Few Frustrations.

It is a really enjoyable experience that captures the thrill of climbing surprisingly well. The environments have varied routes that keep things interesting, and there’s a real sense of height and risk that adds to the excitement. With the crumbling rocks and wind noises adding to the immersion The controls are mostly intuitive, and once you get into the rhythm of climbing, it feels rewarding and engaging. However, one issue that did stand out was the jump mechanic. Using the A button to leap across ledges felt a bit janky and inconsistent at times—sometimes it worked perfectly, other times it felt hit-and-miss, which can be frustrating when you’re mid-climb and relying on precision. Despite that, it’s still a very enjoyable game overall and well worth playing if you like VR adventure or climbing-style experiences. With a bit more polish on the jumping, this could easily be a 5-star title.

A climbing game to rival the best

We all know about The Climb and climb 2, made on a much smaller budget but just as much fun, the climbing is accurate and work really well, I do prefer smooth turning so this would be a great addition, the various climbs are pretty cool an imaginative, from ice to volcano, lots of areas to chose from, this does need more visibility as this is better than some AAA games on bigger budgets. Well done I now need to climb the leaderboards.
