Are you scared of heights?

So I thought this would be a fun game to play since I'm way too scared to climb a mountain in real life. Lemme tell you, this game absolutely terrifies me. There's times I have to put the VR down and wait for my hands to stop sweating. There's multiple times I've audibly said, "please, please don't make me do this". There's something anxiety inducing about having to dangle off a super sketchy mountain face and quickly chalk your hands, because you need all the grip stamina for the next part. What's really neat is as you go up in difficulty, the checkpoints get fewer and further between! So you really gotta be comfortable yeeting yourself into the void and hope you have enough momentum to clear the gap! If you're into giving yourself panic attacks, this game is for you.

Good VR experience

One thing I want to get out of VR is to experience things I wouldn’t be able to in real life. This game definitely achieves that. The discomfort I felt while playing this exceeded anything I’ve ever felt in VR. I’ll never know what it feels like to hang from a mountain in real life, but this game is convincing enough to provide just a fraction of that terror, which is good enough for me.

Great game overall

This is on my top 10 list for favorite VR games, its a very active game and after a few climbs your arms get kind of sore, but besides that it' s overall just a very enjoyable and realistic experience. Definitely worth the price in my opinion and I would recommend to all players, weather you're brand new to VR or you've been playing for a while it's very easy to understand and follow, but also provides a fun challenge.

Will not play again, enjoyed my session

When i joined the game it looked very fun. Graphics are beatifull and tutorial wasnt boring and explained it easily. My first climb was fun and i liked the surroundings. Thats the good stuff but, for a climbing game the movement was limited. It was basic just placing your hands. They couldve done more but yeah. The animation for the stamina running out is minimal and doesnt change, theres no actual modes like placing safety, was expecting to be able to hang the clip to a vest but no, just a poorly made checkpoint, coulve made it very interactive and fun. I got this game for free via horizon plus, i wouldnt have bought it if i didnt have hp. Would not really recommend.

Terrifying and amazing

I’m not afraid of heights and while I’ve never done any vertical rock climbing, I have climbed a few mountains. I started out playing in easy mode and I was terrified to fall. I was literally chanting not real. It’s not real Then I switched to professional mode and I fell clike 30 times in the first five minutes which finally convinced my subconscious mind that it wasn’t real. My only problem with the game is that I feel like I’m at a huge disadvantage because I have short arms lol
