I've made a mistake goining immediately to match. I've started again, but this time I focused on training modes. It's important to mount controller correctly, so it doesn't move. There are also options with holding controller in hand - but that's not for me, I wanted the full experience. Goalkeepers at the beginning are very stupid, I suggest unlocking the level 5.

In the game, you can try different modes such as penalty shooting, crosses, ball smasher, wall, and play a match. There are a lot of options in the menu so that you can customize the controller for the game. I highly recommend it and I think it's game is interesting.

I've played previous version and the new version. The difference is huge. At this moment the play is really smooth. The HUD should be enabled by default, it's so useful. Back then it wasn't easy in the training modes, but now with the assist I started enjoying it as well as the full match. I don't fully get the wall mode, I know that I need to kick the ball of the wall first, but seems redundant for me. And the match has now referees and reserves avatars - they don't do anything useful at the moment, but it's nice graphical addition. And the best thing for me - the commentator, it's sometimes so funny. I play with Quest 2, mounted on foot. I don't know how the game works with controllers in hands, so I don't have opinion about it.

This is step by step journey on how to become a pro. First I started with easy difficulty, assisted mode. I've enjoyed this a lot for couple of hours, and then it become too easy for me. It was to easy to score. I've switched to precise mode, which makes shots really enjoyable, but it was still too easy. Going into normal made things a bit more difficult, but still scoring was pretty easy. On hard it was too difficult for me to play. So then read the tips and tricks and tutorial (hahaha, finally) and decided to give a try changing some settings. But don't set it at the beginning, because it can be too difficult to play. The most important settings: "Jog speed" increase a bit for Player and AI, "Dive distance" increase a bit for AI, "Reach" increase a bit for AI, "Transist into defent speed" set to 1. There is more settings like that, but that's are the most important. ..and maybe "Velocity long pass arrive" increase a bit for Player - for more flat and faster long passes. Additionally always enable HUD before match (that should be default, sometimes I need to restart match immediately because I forgot about it). And I kick with contoller in hand, I decided to use only right hand, because sometimes I was kicking accidentally with left one - even though additional leg helps with tackling (and thats a big hint). So basically I can recommend this game, it feels that default settings are for scoring plenty of nice goals, but you can also adjust it to your needs. Of course there are some weird things, like the opponent only does slide tackles from all positions, so you need to watch out a lot. But the sound is impressive, it really feels the stadium atmosphere, and the commentator has nice voice. More hints, for short pass kick the top of the ball, that's 100% short pass.

1. TRY with controller on the foot at all cost - go to settings, rotate it a bit, enable the leg and the feeling is impressive. Don't forget about setting slow motion with B button. 2. If you want to play with hands, then I recommend using one hand. With two hands I sometimes kick the ball accidentally. Same situation, go to settings, move the foot down, enable legs. 3. Don't change settings without thinking, there are so many of them. I was able to set Jog Speed to 10 and then it was crazy fast game, literally players were flying.
