Youtube not working

I purchased a Skybox to stream YouTube. However, shortly after setup, YouTube stopped functioning properly on the device. The browser interface offered for navigation appears confusing and unreliable. I regret the decision to buy this app, as it has not met my expectations. Overall, I have not recommended it to others, considering it a poor investment for limited entertainment options.

You tube

I always used Skybox as my favorite player for watching You tube VR 180 and 360 movies. I now only see the movies domed / fisheye and its not watchable anymore. I downloaded the latest version and looking at you tube through a browser without be able to see it in 3d VR 180/360 i dont use the skybox app anymore. As a mather of fact i use the standalone You tube app again and can watch VR videos without problems. Skybox was the best for watching you tube but until this is fixed and more what has to be fixed i not recommend buying this app. It is a waste of money atm.

No longer allows to play YouTube

Skybox was my go to for playing YouTube but for some reason now it just says “can’t play this video “ I have reinstalled but still having the same problem. …….any suggestions?

This is the best video playing app

For a single user, this is the best Meta Quest video player app. It plays most formats and includes 2D and 3D capabilities. There's a nice variety of sources available, including SMB on your local network. Several environments like movie theaters are available and the pass thru / mixed reality mode allows you to put a giant screen anywhere in your house. The only way I could see them improving this app would be if it had some kind of watch together option with other Meta Quest users. That's hard though, considering both users have to have the same media files for it to work well. Just buy it, you won't regret this purchase.

Invades your privacy do not buy!

If you want to watch YouTube with this, the system demands complete control over your YouTube account including looking at all of your YouTube history and ability to post comments, etc. Be very careful when granting these kinds of rights to a program. Even if their access is well intentioned, you never know what this could be used or abused for in the future.
