Loving this game

So, I never buy 10 dollar games! I just don't! I own many titles. I love vr. I saw the YT reviews the day before launch and I was excited. I went in with mediocre expectations. What I got was a great game. The pixel style, the music, the 3d environments with 2d enemies. I'm loving this game. It's not terribly easy, there are boss fights and I'm having a blast killing everything in my sights. Its way more than I bargained for. At 10 bucks it's a steal. Honestly, for the price you have no excuse. Just buy this darn game. Great work, devs. You can take my money anytime!

OK, I LOVE IT

For me personally, I rate it 1 Star, but after reading so many positive reviews, I’ve come to the conclusion it’s probably just me. No hard feelings. Update: unfortunately no, I missed the deadline for returns. It’s not a big deal though. I’ll come back in a few months to give it another try. Appreciate the kind response. Update 2: I’ll gladly give this another try when the Halloween update comes out. Appreciate your understanding Update 3: not sure where all the developer responses went…anyone who reads this: the developer has been overly gracious in discussing and replying to my original review. While this may not be my particular brand of tea, you couldn’t ask for more from the service side. That’s how you know they LOVE what they do, and they clearly DO. Looking forward to firing up my headset to give it another try. Been waiting on the Halloween update. UPDATE 4 (Final): I finally sat down with this game for a couple hours and boy was I hooked after that. I’m thinking maybe I wasn’t in a mood to play this back when I first reviewed Shock Troops. I was unfair, and I was WRONG. I see what everyone is talking about now. It’s “shockingly” addicting (see what I did there? lol). I may come back at a later time to be more detailed but as of right now, I’ll simply say, BUY IT AND GIVE IT A TRY! Even if at first it doesn’t seem like your cup of tea, keep at for a little longer or try again at a later date. You can feel the love and time that went into developing this. Thanks again for being such a generous developer and not jumping down peoples throats for a bad review. Because of how you handled it, I listened to you and gave it another shot. Being courteous goes a long way lol. Thanks again for your responses. Hope to see more of Shock Troops in the future! I’d for sure be willing to buy new DLC. OLD REVIEW SCORE: 3/5…. NEW SCORE= 10 outta 5 ;)

Are these devs trolling other devs?

I seriously think these devs are trolling other developers!! .. these guys made one of , if not the best fps on the quest !! It has a campaign , great graphics, great immersion, great gameplay , a good checkpoint system , 3 difficulty settings , and they are only charging $10!!? .. I've bought games that are tripled that price ! And are not even close to being this good!! These guys have put every developer on notice! , Because this is how you make a first person shooter , which is my favorite genre! We really need more shooters with a campaign because I get so tired of multiplayer shooters flooding the quest . This game is well worth the 5 stars that I'm giving it ,and I don't give out 5 stars very often , I'm very picky ! If you like shooters there is no reason not to pick this game up ! You can tell that this developer is a gamer first ! I have well over 50 games on the quest and this is easily one of my top 10! Great job guys 👍🏾

Great shooter. Flamethrower doesn't work

Love the graphic stylings. This is a fun shooter and an absolute bargain. The sound FX and music fit the game perfectly. Hope this game gets updated constantly. Fingers crossed for a Horde mode. If you find the flamethrower doesn't fire even if you have lots of ammo, you will need to come out of the game completely and restart.
