good game, small problem on control

Good game overall. Simple graphic but smooth motion. the space and ship control design is good. Only problem at present is virtual stick's pitch control in Aero mode. Only one direction . May be a bug I don't know. Pls kindly fix it in coming update. So the only way is using the physical joystick from controller to control the pitch. But I prefer using virtual stick. Update : thanks for the quick response from developer. I aware he/she is sole development. Wish your best work from coming update. I revise to five star from four. It is really a good game and has much of fun. Developer have heart to listen and improve. thanks

Best Quest spaceship game I’ve played

When I would daydream about the magical future of video games as a little kid, it was often being inside the cockpit of an X-wing, or Apollo 11. I’m an adult now, but ever since I first decided to buy the Quest 2 on a whim, I’ve bought basically every single game where you’re in the cockpit of a spaceship that has come out. Most of them have one of two issues: 1) the ship is not interactive enough. if there are buttons, control panels, or other components, I want to be able to use all of them. When you see space shuttle videos and sci-fi movies, the pilots are always pushing satisfying-looking buttons and adjusting stuff. But there’s a catch: 2) When it comes to spaceship games, I HATE “survival arcade” gameplay. For some reason, in most of the other ones I’ve played, if there are a bunch of interactive components on board, the game is primarily designed around them breaking, and you having to fix it, and this continues more and more until eventually you fail. How is that supposed to be fun? How is that supposed to feel even remotely realistic? How is that supposed to provide the sheer, childlike imaginative joy of *actually* being a spaceship pilot? It’s ridiculous! System management is great, but not as the primary gameplay gimmick. I want to feel like I’m actually flying the ship. And let me tell you: this game is the best example of that I’ve played yet. The graphics are functional, the missions are fun so far, the tutorial actually explains how to pilot the dang thing (!), all the buttons are interactive, and while stuff breaks (which it will), at least you’re not constantly inundated with annoyingly having to fix it as the primary gameplay device. It’s a great game. But moreover, I hope everyone buys it, so the developers will be given a lot more money to make a AAA version with cutting-edge graphics, ship components, missions, and all that. No kidding: devs, I would pay $40 for a big-budget blockbuster version of this with a movie-like narrative journey in a SECOND. Oh, and one more thing: I am horribly sensitive to motion sickness, to the point where even after several years I can’t play smooth locomotion games. A lot of flying games make me want to puke. But with this game? No motion sickness. None. It’s a miracle!! Either way, bang for your buck wise, this might be the best sub-$15 game ever made. 9.6/10

Best VR space combat game I have played

This game is a fantastic love letter to the wing commander games. It is incredible that a single developer made this game and this one deserves more support. The flight model and combat is intuitive and, most importantly, an absolute blast. Graphics are fine and achieve everything as intended and the interactive cockpits are really well done. I played rogue squadron a lot and the best way I can praise this game is to honestly say that I prefer this one hands down. For feedback, I would love a more stirring soundtrack and effects, but this is no criticism as dev, you are doing an amazing job and I can't wait to see how this one continues to develop.

Unbelievable steal for the price

This is one of the greatest games I've played on the quest. The physics/mechanics are incredible and I find the game very immersive. It's like kind of like star wars squadrons. Can't believe this game isn't more popular, hope the devs can spread the word

Unmatched level of immersion

There's no other game I have found that runs on the Quest 2 that has this level of immersion. Most VR starfighter games just have VR bits tacked on where you still use a gamepad. Most flying games that can run on the Quest 2 have maybe 4-8 enemies max on the screen at any given time and every mission is just a repeat of the last one. This game takes the virtual cockpit idea you find in games like UltraWings to the next level and then throws you into massive fleet battles in a multi-hour single player campaign, all running smoothly on the Quest 2 and above. And the combat is varied with escort missions, assassinations, fleet combat, and bombing missions. There are dozens of powerups that completely change your ship weapons. Even Star Wars Squadrons cut land based missions from their game. In Rogue Stargun, by the final 3 levels, you will be zipping through canyons dodging enemy missiles while directing mechanized ground forces towards the enemy stronghold. There is no other VR experience like it on any platform!
