Feels soulless

I love the Schell Games company and their creations but this is a new low. I've seen great games made by this company and just to be given this. It feels sad to see 99% of this game be AI. For starters the shop shows these characters that blatantly look like they're made by ChatGPT and when you actually look at the skin in game its a sad, low quality mesh (which is probably also made by AI) of what they're advertising. The music is either AI as well or some boring stock music. I dont even think they hired a real voice to be the announcer. I'll say it again, I've seen amazing games from your company and just to see this slop come out of it is just sad. AI doesn't innovate or help, It's mainly destroying the idea of these games and instead of being creative they just pump out as much AI generated games as they can to make a quick buck. You're better than this and I know it. Edit: I forgot to mention this. The "skins" they have are given again these cringy AI descriptions to give this game more "personality"

Soulless Goyslop

I played this game a while back and wanted to share my thoughts as both a player and fellow developer. For context, I'm the creator of Lethal Ape on the Quest store (32k+ reviews), and I have deep respect for Schell Games' work, I've even studied Jesse Schell's The Art of Game Design. That's why I'm disappointed to say Project Freefall misses the mark significantly. The issues are hard to overlook: all assets feel rushed with noticeably low-poly meshes, and the gameplay loop becomes repetitive within 20 minutes. There's basically no replayability to speak of. From a technical standpoint, the game also lacks basic security measures against modding on rooted Quest headsets. As someone who admires Schell Games' previous titles, this feels like it was pushed out without the polish and thoughtful design I've come to expect from the studio. It sucks to say but im just being blunt; this game sucks even for being early access
