Enjoyable VR puzzle game!

As a person who loves playing puzzle games in VR in this game the puzzles are quite clever and not too tricky, just right in terms of challenge and ease of play. Every new environment brings something fresh to the table, keeping things interesting and always changing. The game also has many historical facts which I find very interesting, because I have never seen anything like this done before. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is searching for something unique to play!

Good foundation, needs more polish

I beta tested Oldest Golden Treasure and overall I enjoyed my time with it. Performance is very good for an indie VR game — it runs smoothly and looks solid in VR. Some of the puzzles, especially earlier on, were genuinely fun and well thought out, and the house/basement sections had good pacing and momentum. The main issues for me were polish and consistency. I ran into a number of bugs and glitches during my playthrough, which occasionally broke immersion. The story also started off interesting but felt rushed and a bit unfocused toward the end, making the conclusion less satisfying than it could have been. That said, the developer has already been actively fixing issues based on feedback, which is really encouraging. There’s clearly a good game here, and with continued updates, stronger atmosphere, and refinement, this could become something special.

Almost a golden treasure

I quite enjoyed my time playing this story puzzler. The atmosphere is good, story is good and interesting…. and the sounds and graphics are decent. Puzzles arnt too challenging, but are still fun and get you thinking. I like the interesting history facts you find scattered about too, which add to the story. There is a couple of issues stopping it from being a golden treasure of a puzzler… I threw one item and it vanished up through the ceiling and manipulation of some items needs to be better… also a crouch button would be good. It’s a decent puzzler and I will return to it… there’s some better ones out there, but there’s way more worse puzzlers. If you like puzzlers, I’d recommend this game.

Had fun

A decently fun game with a good mix of familiarity and uniqueness. It feels like an escape room in the beginning, but that quickly evolves into a puzzle adventure. Would love to see a follow-up or extra content connected in the same universe.
