Updated: What VR was made for
My previous review; I’ve been playing this for a few months, it’s the type of game I’d hoped for when I got my headset! I will leave the 5 stars for posterity, but sadly I would no longer recommend this game, it had the potential to be brilliant, unfortunately the dev seems to have given up, there have been no updates or fixes since 2023. The game now is rife with hackers and modders who will try to get you to subscribe to their cheats. What was once a friendly (generally) community has become somewhat toxic. If you’re interested in giving it a go, I would highly advise playing with friends in a private server and staying clear of the public drama. Hopefully in the future the dev will return, but for now save your money!

Amazing game, terrible people.
This game would be good if they didn't allow leveled up players to attack people who don't even have weapons in the entry level. Even runescape had areas where you'd be safe. It's ridiculously stupid that some necromancer looking incel can blast me with spells while I'm in the middle of reading quest info. I understand player vs. player competitiveness, but not when it's so clearly unbalanced, you can't level up if you can't even do anything without dying. Developers dropped the ball on that big time. Honestly, if I could just have a refund, that would be great. The 30 minute free trial wasn't enough to prepare you for this BS.

Spawnkillers
As fun as the game is there was a random person who spawned killing low level players he killed me and I lost server points unless they make the main world PvP free I’m not gonna get on Wow also just got back on for an hour than some random hit me with a spelled that stopped me than oneshot me with a sword what a 20 dollar waste do not recommend if you don’t like spawn Another spawnkiller killed me twice wish I could give this 0 stars

Simply what I've always wanted in VR
I don't even know where to begin. This title is a hardcore fantasy gamers dream, and by far the most fun I've had in VR in two years of playing. This game isn't easy, nor for the faint of spirit, but extremely rewarding if you are committed. There are so many deep mechanics and so many things to do, I'm constantly astounded by the various mysteries that my friends and I uncover every day. There's insane amounts of quests, an active and friendly community, plenty of challenges, more areas than I can keep track of, and a laundry list of adventure that seems neverending. The game developers did a wonderful job giving tons of reward systems to keep you interested and you even craft your own spells. There's over 300,000 spell combinations. For the $20 this game costs I've never been more satisfied with money spent. Since starting, my fiance and multiple of our friends have gotten the game and we're all hooked playing every day. Just go in knowing the game does not hold your hand, and you may struggle at first with the overwhelming amount of content, but the game also does a decent job giving you clues. The player base are mostly very friendly and offer help when they see new players. I will not be playing another VR game for a long time. Thank you devs for knocking this one out of the park. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
