Use Quest Game Optimizer and set the resolution to 150-200%, otherwise the pixelation/low-resolution makes it harder to enjoy. And if you like mesmerizing experiences also try 'Realms of Flow' - a bit less interactive, yet more cinematic and with additional effects for breathing, humming etc.

Finally, a proper music visualiser

I spent quite a bit of time searching for a good VR music visualiser, reading reviews, buying apps, testing them, and often asking for refunds, and none of them delivered. Mezmer is the first one that actually does what I wanted, and it does it brilliantly. It recognised all my MP3s on the Quest 3 straight away, and the interface makes switching between my own tracks, online radio stations, and the built-in music very straightforward. I’d still like a bit more control in the future (folder browsing, sorting options, or basic track rewind/fast-forward), but even as it is, it’s miles ahead of anything else I’ve tried. The visualisations are the real showstopper: vibrant, reactive, and fully three-dimensional. They shift, twist, and explode with colour in perfect sync with the music, so each track feels genuinely alive. You can swap visuals (mezmers) instantly, let them rotate automatically, or stick with your favourite. The interactors add another layer of fun: you can use your hands, head movement, and on-screen controls to tweak colours, filters, styles, speed, rotation, and 3D direction. You can even boost the synchronisation by moving in rhythm with the music. Each visualisation has unique controls, which keeps things fresh: you can grab things, turn wheels, push buttons, move levers, and even throw rocks into space or punch a hairy creature (in the FLOOP visualisation). There’s still plenty for me to explore in Mezmer, but every session has surprised me in the best way. It’s the first VR visualiser that truly lets me enjoy my own music collection with the sort of visuals I always hoped for. I’d love to see new mezmers added over time, and perhaps higher-resolution options for even more detail, but what’s already here is outstanding. A huge thank-you to the developers. This is exactly the experience I’d been searching for. Highly recommended if you want a proper music-driven VR experience on the Quest 3.

JUST BUY THIS!!!

This is an EXTREMELY nice visualizer with a TON of features at a ridiculously low price. There are 10 scenes (each of them is interactive) and you can apply 6 different color/FX filters on each scene. The app has ample features including an original soundtrack, a freaking internet radio player (?!?) and the ability to use your personal audio files stored on your Quest. Are there ways to improve this app? Yes, but even in this early iteration it is extremely solid and beautiful. I won't even waste time listing any cons--at less than $2 Mezmer is a steal. It's a beautiful little app and if you're at all interested after watching the store's video then just buy it.

Favorite VR app yet

I bought half life alyx , all these supposed AAA products and yeah cool.... but nothing sold me on VR like mezmer . Must have app for any vr or music lover. Its like you are transported to riding around on vj loops with some light interactivity. For people looking to trip this has to be your holy grail. I see developer releasing more levels and stuff im sure this has to just be the start too this should be on every new vr installed . Imagine if there was an editor and we could make our own and share em that would be so cool. A+

Just what I needed

Love it. It’s perfect for what I need. Listen to music and chill. If you like that then don’t think twice about buying This Questions: Is there a way to access to music streaming platforms, like Apple Music, or can it already do that?? Didn’t see that feature yet, but maybe I missed that. I’d also love to be able to control the speed in which some of the animations flow to match the tempo of my songs. Thanks so much for making this.
