A unique study experience

This app is a great way to isolate and focus on what you need to learn. This unique experience is different from any other study method I have ever used. It is fully immersive, and the library is a really amazing place. Not only is it a unique study experience it is a beautiful environment that is conducive to learning. The ability to not only purchase study decks or use free shared decks, but to also create your own that is totally custom to your needs is really amazing and useful. This really does make learning and studying a unique and fun experience that I think would be good for almost any age.

Memory Palaces! Needs some improvements

A fantastic learning tool, I have a few things that would be helpful if added. I like that there's already a free movement option but a smooth turning feature would be awesome since I'm just always thrown off by snap turning as possibly others are too. I'm not sure if pictures can be added since I can't access the app yet but since two of the decks I tried out just to experiment (Yoga and skeletal system) did not have pictures, I think that would also be a much needed feature that would be helpful in the learning process. Also, I'm not sure if I'm mistaken but decks might not be able to be private? I'm only assuming this because of the community decks but I might very much be wrong. I personally would feel embarrased to show some of the decks that I might create so maybe having a choice to make a public or private deck would be much appreciated. Lastly, this is an awesome app! Ever since I heard of it I was very much looking forward to it and literally anticipated this day to play around with it. Memory palaces, or the method of loci were always hard for me to practice since I was a kid and having a VR app that aids you in that process is just mindblowing to me. I definitely expected many issues and bugs but surprisingly, except for the few things I mentioned, there is none that I personally found yet. If there is anything else to mention, I will try to update this review every time I notice, I just hope the devs read this and reciprocate. If you're looking for an awesome study aide, I highly recommend this! P. S Seated mode or height adjustment options would also be awesome, even though it works decently while seated anyways. At certain times I feel like a little dwarf trying to grab things. Update: Google play now has the app, search up Librarium scribe. Again, pictures would be a great addition. Seeing the parts of anatomy as pictures would be extremely helpful in learning. I saw a review that mentioned learning Japanese with this, which I also want to try but had issues showing the Japanese text. That problem can easily be fixed with pictures as well. Please give the option to add pictures! Also: -Smooth turning please! -There is an option to share decks so not sharing is what I'm assuming to be private -Height adjustment or seated mode please! -Again Pictures! -More props to associate with Thanks for the wonderful app and thank you for your hard work devs! Don't abandon this great work.

A universe of learning, but not perfect.

“The man with insight enough to admit his limitations comes nearest to perfection.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Exploring Librarium is not a task, but a journey. As you work your way through the wide array of free decks, and possibly some of the paid DLC, you will discover more rooms, features and creativity. Not to mention a growing array of knowledge for you to mine. Decks can sometimes be found lying around the library, but the 'store' is by far the best place to search for specific topics. However, the app does have some shortcomings. Even in the brief time I have been using it, I have found that certain aspects need some polish. One of the most significant was when, after finishing a new deck, I went to the Fact Blaster. Picking up the gun did not trigger the quiz mode, no matter how many times I tried. I had completed the deck - the app told me so repeatedly - so there was no reason the quiz should not have appeared. There was even the spotlight on the gun's podium to confirm that option was now available. As an 'older person' with dodgy knees, I tend to play a lot of VR sitting down, which made reaching for objects high on shelves and sitting on the ground, difficult to grab successfully. I even managed to knock a few items off the back of shelves and into inaccessible spaces. Most frustrating to not be able to complete a course due to an item hiding in a corner behind a chair. [update] Because of this feedback, the developer added a teleport-reach function, allowing me to reach for curios and have them fly into my hand. THIS IS AMAZING, and great service. I would also like to note that if I grab a coursebook from the store and throw it in the air to activate it, before I add it to my Book, it becomes impossible to add it to my Book afterwards unless I 'ding the bell' and cycle through every other course until I return to the set it was in. Then it reappears and I can add it to the book. All that said, I'm loving this app and anticipate much use ahead.

A Novel App

Librarium is a novel app with practical use for anyone needing to learn a set of facts or increase familiarity with the basics of any subject. Gaining familiarity with the memory palace secrets and advancing through your studies earns the right to easier navigation and to add rooms to the palace. It took several turns at using this app before I solved enough of the mysteries of the memory palace to become efficient about studying and testing. Once I did, however, I find myself working through subjects easily. I also use the Librarium Scribe app on my iphone to study courses already taken. The great thing about Scribe is the ability to create your own decks to use in Librarium. While there are in- app purchases that can be made, there is a fairly generous free library if courses. Using the companion Scribe app to create your own decks nake this an app I will use again and again. Scott Hall

Abandoned project

Such a good product for learning. We emailed support offering to buy this entire product so we can continue developing, as we really believe in this. They didn’t respond for months. I support. Just left on store. Typical of many projects. Starts initially out of passion, but the fire is out out.
