Do not buy it

The game is abandoned; it's been over 9 months since the last update, and the developers are already working on another game without having finished this one. They promised a progression mode that never came to fruition. It definitely has the content of a free-to-play game: a square room that appears on zombies, nothing more than that. If they deliver on what they promised, maybe I'll adjust my rating.

So much fun!

My husband and I downloaded this game and we are having a blast playing it. Only complaint is the bullets are super slow so by the time it hits, the target is usually moved. It's important to set boundaries as well as furniture as we now need a new tv because it got punched 👊 lesson learned

I really like this game, BUT...

The Last Stand is fun and engaging, but solo mode needs fixes. There should be a clear round indicator in solo mode so you know when it’s safe to reload and restock in peace. Shotguns, grenades, a minigun, and health pills should be available to buy on the tablet, if not, maybe drop some health pills once in a while through the ceiling hatch, througout the round. Killing zombies should earn more money. Please leave out the Big Poppa zombies — they’re way too strong and not fair in solo mode. The cash register that does nothing is frustrating, and the code with a key on the wall feels pointless since only the red button works. Despite these quirks, I really enjoy the game — it has a strong foundation and could be even better with these fixes. See ya on the flipside!

The game itself is really fun so I'd definitely recommend it. The only problem is trying to find anyone to play with. I was waiting for 15 minutes yet didn't find a match. So if you have other friends to play with I'd 100% say get this game but if not you will probably struggle finding a match like I did. Apart from that the game is well done and gets you running around like crazy trying to stay alive.

Work needed, but fun

I've played this a handful of times, both in solo and with friends. With friends is definitely where it shines. The solo wave-based mode isn't nearly as enjoyable for me as going up against a friend. The matchmaking needs a little work, as I recently watched someone streaming it be unable to match with one of his friends. Outside of that, it's pretty solid. Can be easy to lose your melee items if you try to throw them, but you should be able to purchase a new one if needed, so that's a trade off, IMO. The purpose of shooting the alarm targets above the enemy's store is a little confusing; the tutorial seemed to indicate it would set off the alarm, attracting zombies to that side, but in practice, it seems to force the shutters down, preventing them from shooting at you for a little bit. Clarity on that in the tutorial would be good. But yeah, it's a pretty solid game and is fun, especially if you're up against a person. I recommend it.
