Bit janky but nice story

So far the gunplay is “Hubris” mid and very janky but since its more like a movie where you play the protagonists i can look pass that if the story is good and so far i can say… i didn’t asked for a refund and the game is 45$can so there’s that I need to play more but as a sci fi tale it seems interesting Edit: its seems more janky and less shooter focus than i was expecting but the story, powers, moral choices, vr mechanics, etc are all very ambitious for a stand alone game from a scifi book serie. I can appreciate the level of complexity needed to tell a story on that kind of platform and will have a lot of fun going through that space adventure since i am a big Asimov fan for more than 30years Re-edit:I find myself liking the system of weapon choices/switching... it make the shooting a bit more enjoyable mixed with the powers and weird setting, I can confirm, i like that little game

Story driven RPG

Tested on quest 3. It's probably the best story driven RPG FPS game on quest standalone. The game as a whole is interesting and provide a complete experience. The graphics are fine for a quest game and the story is interesting. But : It feels like a good, but old, outdated PC game. Like it was a port of a game made 20 years ago. It has several forgivable bugs but one of them is seriously annoying. It seems like the wider field of view of the quest 3 wasn't taken into account and the game isn't properly rendered on the rightmost part of our vision. The game seems interesting and I want to finish it, but I will be waiting for an update for the quest 3 before continuing.

Great choice-based RPG

I enjoyed the story, settings, and characters, and the voice acting was excellent. The combat was just right for me, i.e. not too much of it, and not too hard. 😅 The controls weren't always intuitive to me, so I think I missed out on some things, and in a few places I struggled for a while before I figured out how to progress. Also, be aware that some of your choices can have unintended consequences later on, which you can't avoid because you can only go back to your last checkpoint. But overall, I enjoyed it very much. 😊👍

Very good!

Excellent sci-fi game! Very good mechanics of guns, gadgets and the world. Graphics is pretty good for a quest game, interesting story, and for once the puzzles that are not dumb. There are lots of interesting ideas in terms of VR usage, great locations, the world is filled with gadgets that are there just for world building, and the dialogues are well played (and skipable). I just can't believe it's not a more popular game. I mean, it's almost as good as half-life Alyx in many aspects. But beware that it's not another dumb arcade where you can just switch your brain off and run through. You'd need to pay attention, make meaningful choices and find unintuitive solutions. I also want to complement how smooth and comfortable the game is (on quest 3): no dizziness at all (unlike many other games with seemingly the same movement). Nevermind negative reviews about quest 3, it's been all patched. Try! To devs: could you make an option to hide the subtitles? Also, the option to do nothing in the dialogues could be more explicit, otherwise it looks like I have no choice but to kill some people :D

oh god its great. give it time

This game scratches an itch for me that hasn't been scratched since i finished mass effect. its not perfect by any means, and does itself no favours by delaying getting into combat as long as it does, nor by the first weapon having no reticule. makes use of a lot of great vr ideas like hacking and cutting torch , etc. where it shines is once you unlock the better weapons , powers and from the start of the game to finish the dialogue system. well worth your time. The game also wears its mass effect heart on its sleeve, with a main character named Ward (i see what you did there) and conversation ending lines like ' i should go'. i know they had a bunch of layoffs recently but god i hope this gets a sequel or ue5 graphical overhall for pcvr. if i could change anything in this game it would be to front load it with a previous mission that sets things in motion that gets you into action early as was case with mass effect to pull people who are more actiony in from the get go.
