A terrifying masterpiece

I don’t scare easily. I’m a 39-year-old grown man who knows very well this is just a game… and yet Into the Radius consistently makes me feel like an 8-year-old kid walking alone through a haunted forest, convinced every shadow is about to grab me. And that’s exactly why I keep coming back. Time and time again I swear I’m done. I rip off the headset, heart pounding, neck hairs standing straight up, muttering: “Never again.” Then a few hours later? I’m back in the Radius. The mechanics are absolutely phenomenal — but be warned: they take some getting used to. More than once, in the most intense, life-or-death moments, I’ve accidentally hit the mag drop button or pulled out the completely wrong item from my backpack while panic set in. It’s frustrating, hilarious, and oddly realistic all at the same time. And honestly? It just adds to the chaos and immersion. Gun handling feels weighty, realistic and deeply satisfying. Reloading under pressure, maintaining your gear, planning your route — it all adds to an intensely immersive experience that VR rarely achieves at this level. Visually, the game is more than solid, and with the optimizer enabled it becomes genuinely beautiful. Even small details, like the beam of your flashlight slicing through the darkness, are stunning. That cone of light alone delivers more atmosphere than most horror games manage in their entirety. Do I fully understand the story yet? Not really. But the gameplay is so gripping that it hardly matters. For the past two weeks, this has been the only game I’ve played daily — despite the fact it scares the hell out of me every single session. Into the Radius isn’t just a VR game. It’s an experience. A nerve-shredding, heart-racing, deeply addictive experience. If you love immersion, tension and realistic survival mechanics — welcome to your new obsession. Just don’t blame me when you start sleeping with the lights on.

I forgot i was playing vr at 3:00 am so im eating canned pineapple and start a mission once im in the radius i decided to smoke (in game) i didn’t have a lighter so i look around random places a ###### spawned behind me so turn around and i only had a bullet in the chamber so i shoot his head he didn’t die so i run to a corner and start crying until he runs up to me so i stab him with a knife i found next to me i realize i have a shotgun so i kill him remember im playing vr and get relieved 10/10 im gonna buy the second one

THIS GAME IS LITERAL PEAK

So i bought and started playing this game thinking it would be a short little one shot arcade adventure... I HAD NO IDEA HOW WRONG I WAS AND HOW PEAK THIS GAME IS🤯🤯🤯 for starters, open world in vr is awsome, the graphics are gorgeous, the story is gripping, the missions, while repetitive are fun and risky af, the combat is fun and frenzied if caught off guard, the weapons handle like a dream and the ending... AH THE ENDING... i cried. *SPOILER WARNING* (I picked the self sacrifice ending. That last frame before the credits had me bawling😭😭😭) 11/10 the best vr experience in my life thus far, with a very close 2nd place to blade and sorcery with starwars mods. To the devs, i say: "thank you. Thank you for the great story and gameplay. Thank you for pouring so much love and passion into your game. Thank you for feeding our imaginations."

I was totally wrong ,so so SO WRONG

This is THE VR experience for anyone looking to try vr for the first time, or anyone wanting to ACTUALLY immerse themselves into a world, this is it, it has one thing that stalker lacked for me , HOARDING and having a place TO STORE/DISPLAY all your loot like whats the point in looting if i cant get the sense that not only am i actually accomplishing something, but being compensated as well i got a quest 3s a month ago, never having tried vr, and as someone whos never tried it other than the cheap lil boxes you put your phone in (apparently the quest 3s is basically just a phone you wear on your face tech wise i guess) THIS GAME should be one of the main ones you let someone try to show them what VR CAN BE , dude the weapon manipulation is awesome, it feels sooo good , like dude i find myself cleaning and organizing my vr house more than my own lol , like it makes you want to stay in that world, hey devs, maybe you could conjure up some more magic and find other ways for the player to spend more time in your world or invest more time into the world.....it would be cool if they had tvs kinda like in max payne and gta, you could use them as just a plot device like they do in max payne or just have some silly stuff to watch like gta, or could use both, it could be like old hitatchi tube tv's as only certain tech can function in the radius , youve already got the whole , paranormal/para-dimensional feel going on, you could lean into that as well as the realism, like every that has to do with the player and all their stuff is treated with such a love for detail and realism and then have the world around them just be abnormal as heck , i havent played the second one yet, but i feel like its the real radius, as in the second one was the version you guys wanted to make maybe, but that being said, thats not a slight at the first one, i really love this game, i can tell the game i want to play is the second one though, basically the game makes me not want to take the headset off, and especially since im still using the head strap the quest comes with THATS A HIGH COMPLEMENT,THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK, AND OBVIOUS LOVE FOR GAMING I THINK THATS THE PROBLEM TODAY, THE INDUSTRY IS FULL OF THE SAME PPL THAT BACK IN SCHOOL WOULD HAVE MADE FUN OF YOU FOR GAMING OR READING COMICS, NOW THOSE SAME TYPES ARE THE INDUSTRY, ITS PART OF WHY THEY HATE GAMERS , THAT AND THEY RESENT THE FACT THEY LANDED IN GAMING OR GAMING JOURNALISM, THEY DONT WANT TO BE THERE THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE GONNA END UP AT THE NEW YORK TIMES, AND THEY LOOK AT THE CONSUMER LIKE ITS THEIR FAULT, THE PPL MAKING GAMES TODAY HATE GAMING , REMEMBER ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO WHEN THEY HAD ALL THOSE "BECOME A GAME DESIGNER" ADS WELL THATS HOW WE GOT OUR CURRENT CLIMATE, So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Thank you guys for GIVING A DARN yours truly Original gamer

Cannot be played sitting down because of

I really want to love this game, as it has a fantastic world and a breathtaking atmosphere. However, since I am a dedicated VR player who only buys games that can be played sitting down, I pay extra attention to this detail. Unfortunately, Into the Radius cannot be played well while sitting because the belt position is not adjustable. This makes it very difficult to draw your weapon or access other items located on the belt. I truly find it a pity that the developer is not taking action to integrate a setting into the game that allows players to customize the belt's position (height, depth, width, etc.). This would allow players to easily reach their weapon and ammunition on the belt, even when seated. Therefore, I advise everyone against buying this game if they primarily intend to play sitting down. As long as you play while seated, you will experience more frustration than enjoyment with Into the Radius. It's a shame; the money was wasted. I don't believe the developer will implement this adjustment anymore.
