IbisimKART is now updated. You can have a practice session with your own ghost and can race against AI karts. Two new outdoor tracks, inspired by real world tracks, have been added too!

A great start

This might just be the most underrated gem here. A solid racer which really captures the essence of ripping around a track in a go kart. Really good racing elements here that will feel incredibly familiar to any sim racers, but still very accessible for a casual gamer. The steering controls are good but could benefit from improvements to the controller tracking. It’s serviceable but once you start pushing to shave tenths off a lap that’s where the holes start to show. It’s one of standalone’s biggest issues when trying to steer without a wheel so hopefully they can dial this in, or maybe someone makes a wheel peripheral similar to the gun stocks. The physics feel great and nailing the corners at speed is very satisfying. Overall a fantastic karting experience, and really excited to see where this goes. Cheers!

Amazing experience

Hi guys first thing you need to know if u try the 20 min version is to read this. I tried almost 20 min to figure out how to start but I'm glad I found the way. (Maybe a video tutorial at the beginning would be great). First thing you need to do is go to the corner where you can find a helmet. This helmet is a nice detail for those who feel motion as it will focus your view if u get it. To grab things like the helmet or the 🛞 you need to grab them with the lateral bottoms on your controller. U can choose to wear it or leave it. Then near the column the last kart is the one u can choose. It has a different color. U just need to walk and approach to the kart and it will automatically put u on the sit. I was almost 20 min trying to ride the first kart in the first row 🥲 Once you are in just right controller press it to move forward slowly and turn left to go to the track. Once you are out u have right to move forward and right to break. You will change gear with A. Which means if is gear 0 u can't move. If u press A is gear 1 so u can move forward. If u get sucked press X to go to 0 then X again to go to -1 then right controller push it and u move backwards. Then same thing to move forward A A then go on. Break is the hold button on the left controller (haven't used it much xD) With this said, guys this is amazing it feels real and I hope more people join here so they can improve it more and more with new tracks and multiplayer. It would be nice to be able to use just our hands. It's really promising and I'm sure many people will try and think is not worth it if they can't continue. I really was about to leave it but good thing I kept on investigating more. Do you have a discord to follow up upcoming updates? For some reason, I can’t sit in the seat of the kart so it feels like I’m standing above or on the seat making it difficult to reach the steering wheel with my hands, not sure why this is though
