Great game. Not a fan of their pricing

I definitely recommend you try the game especially for the free to start price. It has fun game play and it can get pretty addictive. I liked it so much I paid to unlock endless mode. I assumed they were only asking for $8 for the game since the game is still in early access, but I was wrong. The $8 only unlocks the endless mode. Every new gun they add is another $6... I prefer to pay full price for a game knowing that anything that gets added besides a major expansion would be included for free. I'm more than glad to pay $8 or more for an early access game to help fund continued development. I'm not fine with $8 for endless mode only, and $6 dollars for each weapons that will be released. I do not want to be nickel and dimed for everything that gets added. It took me from being excited that they added content to being disappointed that they plan to charge you every time to unlock future guns. Give it a try, maybe you will enjoy the free content. Maybe you don't mind getting charged for every new feature or updates. I just don't think I'm up for it.

Excellent game, wrong price model.

This game is excellent, and with potential to be one of the bests vr games. It gets things right: the ui is right. The shooting is on point, and the fun is absolutely there. However, charging for every weapon and game mode breaks the deal. Went into discord to find out that is the plan, and now i regret supporting them when i bought endless without thinking. I really hope you backtrack on this decision, it is a shame to see this absolute gem spoiled by tjis. A one time payment would have been a much fair (and deserved) situation.

My new favorite game for Quest 3

First I want to tackle some of the one star reviews for this game. Wow, you don't need to buy anything to have fun in this game. I played the game without buying anything and had fun for hours. I decided to buy the gun and the endless run (both cost under $15 combined $6 for the gun and $8 for the endless runner) But like I said you don't have to buy anything and it is still a lot of fun. I wanted to support the developers. As for making this game one price. Most games of this type will set you back over $20 to buy the whole thing. And to be honest if this game did this, I would not have tried it for fear the game would be terrible. I believe most people wouldn't have tried it. But if the developers wanted to do a one price unlock everything. There are a few games that I am playing where if you buy three upgrades you unlock everything. Maybe they can do something like this. So far there are only 2 upgrades to unlock. If you are a fan of rail shooters or gallery shooters please give this a try. It is free, and if you don't like it, well you only wasted the time to download and the time you played, but I am glad I gave this game a shot. 5 stars out of 5.

Single best arcade shooter on the quest

Absolutely amazing visuals, with a beautiful minimalistic synth asthetic. Preformance is great, haven't had a single issue on my Quest 3s. The main gimic of the enviroment changing arround you per level is just perfect, and the variety keeps it fresh while also letting you memorize the possibilities to get a better idea of what's up next. Gameplay is challenging, expecting some decent sharp shooting to stay alive in the later levels if your unlucky. I love the upgrade progression with the limited slots and currency earned each round, it keeps things tense having to balance between getting enough points and having enough coins to keep up. The variety in upgrades is really fun, and by the end you might be one shotting the half the range in a massive explision. And finally, my favorite part of how the devs handled this game: Microtransactions Or rather, how well this game balances what should and shouldn't be paid content. By default you have the Pistol, and you unlock new game modes as you progress, but you can also purchase either a Shotgun or an SMG, along with an endless mode after finishing a tower. I really like how this is structured since the focus of the game is single shot, accuracy focuse shooting designed arround a pistol. So the additions of other weapons as DLC instead of base game content feels much more natural especially with the base game being free and weapons only being 5$ a piece. Overall this is the single most enjoyable vr arcade type experience I've ever had. Hands down. It's refreshingly challenging, while being easy to pick up and start a round, with beautiful visuals and extremely satisfying gameplay. And there's enough content to last you a good long while even sticking to the free base game :3

Superb…BUT

Brilliant game. Graphically it is bright and clear with atmospheric music adding to the enjoyment of the game. The arena really draws you in and the various different target levels vary from easy to quite difficult. Speed and accuracy are the key to doing well maintaining your level multiplayer is crucial as is picking the appropriate mods to get the highest score. Paid for endless mode and the new shot gun which is great, to help support the development. One of the best games I’ve played in a long time….BUT and it is a big BUT the last two levels before the bosses especially the penultimate level spoil the whole game for me with ridiculous increases in score required to finish the level and always a difficult target selection. Time and time again I get to the last but one level and end up more than 20k short of the required score which is infuriating. I have completed the game on the first three levels but as just stated the last but one level on level four is ridiculous. The higher levels are fun to play but how people are completing them I don’t know, but well done I think I need more practise and I have been playing this game a lot🤣 overall a brilliant game looking forward to more weapon releases and maybe a few tweaks on the later level score requirements. A few tweaks and it’s 5/5 for me brilliant. Wanted to write another review but looks like I have to add to this. Ohhhhh dear. Nerf nerf nerf. Played this since release paid for both guns and just when your having fun boooom. Do you developers not actually play your game after making changes. Difficulty three and above now a lottery if you get enough multipliers to survive the first 4-6 waves. Higher wave scores yet again before the final level just impossible to get frustration frustration and turn it off. Great game nerfed and ruined. Will wait for you to adjust until it’s enjoyable and playable again until then no thanks. This has been my most played game since release across several systems but no more. Well here I go again. Not played in several weeks and was looking forward to my favourite blaster. Ohhhh dear me. What the hell have you done to this game wow. Is there someone new in the dev team that just doesn’t like people having fun or is it just a bad business plan or even self sabotage. I didn’t notice the update but when I viewed the score tables I knew straight away it’s been nerfed to hell AGAIN. Billions down to single or tens of millions. Updated and had a few games and just thought what an absolute travesty. This game was awesome and now calling it a chore is a plus. All the good points have been hammered and now it’s just hard work even on easy. Normal is super hard and just no fun. Even on normal mode you have put in the whirly modes that take away something that just destroys the game and your score. You can’t revolve the tower to see what’s coming I hit two on the bounce I couldn’t avoid and just stopped the game and started again. Where’s the good whirls that give you good bonuses it’s as though mister negative has taken over and doesn’t want you to have fun anymore? If your new to the game try and enjoy it but I think if your like me and have played from the first day of release you will be sad to see how a game can be nerfed so bad it just makes you shake your head. What the devs are trying to achieve I do not know but I’ll say it again play the game before and after the mods and if you really think this is now better then wow. I have been playing games since the late 70s I’m nearly 60 and this is one of the worst cases of nerfing a game I’ve ever seen. Whoever is in charge needs to change the plan because this is shocking.
