Beautiful but too short

I actually purchased this by mistake while looking for Temple Run. However in some respects it was a welcome purchase. I loved the ability to take your time and explore the puzzles and take in the detail of each room. Was beautiful to view the scenery. The method of movement by selecting links to each room worked well and I could stay in the game without feeling strained or dizzy. I would give this 5* if it was not so short. As it was about 20 mins to complete, and no replay value as you now know the solutions, the cost is not in proportion to the experience. It was more akin to a demo. If the game was much longer I'd thoroughly recommend it. But because it's so short I dont think it's worth the same as a full game. It's a shame as I was really enjoying it.

Solid game, needs better scale

After getting this on sale, I can say the gameplay is easily worth a buck or two, nice graphics and reasonable puzzles. Great use of audio and atmosphere. However- the perspective is very odd. It seems to be a conscious choice, but it makes you feel about 2 feet tall. The skeletons you encounter are similarly miniaturized. If this kept you at reasonable height like Cursed Sanctum for example, I'd go 5 stars

Short but sweet. Well worth it.

We as human beings lament when good things end so abruptly. Whether it’s an engaging movie, a fun weekend, or in this case an immersive VR game, we always wish we had more. Hidden Temple very successfully hooks us quickly into this Indiana-Jones-meets-Tomb-Raider adventure, and we become engrossed in this maze of tombs. Scouring for clues and solving the game’s puzzles is a delight. Once you start, it’s incredibly difficult to stop or to move onto something else. The graphics are bright and colorful, and not-too-real in the best kind of way. The gameplay is simple but satisfyingly instinctual. Really, this could and should be an elite 5-Star title. Unfortunately, to echo what many others before me have stated, it is disappointingly short. Don’t get me wrong, for the cheap price tag (and I got it on sale), it holds excellent value. You won’t regret purchasing it. But you will yearn for more. I am not diametrically opposed to short games when the price matches the length. Sometimes, brevity is an absolute virtue. But in this case, the genre calls for an epic adventure with hours and hours of gameplay. When we get something that delivers on so many fronts except duration, we naturally feel let down. In many ways, this game recalls another short-but-sweet title I played and reviewed, Cursed Sanctum. Much of what I said about that game is strikingly familiar here. Mainly, all of the elements of a fully formed game are present but are woefully underutilized. In both cases, it’s easy to envision a VR classic but sadly we get a glorified demo. Nonetheless, I gave that one a thumbs up, and I do here as well. Keep your expectations in check, and you will have a great time, however brief it may be.

That's it? WTH is the gold even for?

So I paid about 5 bucks. I was enjoying it. Then half a breath later, I apparently finished the game. I thought it was a first level, but nope. That was it. Not sure why I bothered looking for gold as you don't use it, and there is a treasure room at the end for you to collect a whole lot... but why? The game then ended. I feel like I should get my 5 bucks back and this game should be a free concept game cos someone obviously worked hard on the vr graphics, but the game itself was never actually developed.

Graphics!

Wow. Off all the VR games, this one seems to have a special level of 3D. It also hurts the game with text being scrambled. My fear is the game is too short, but I haven't played much, just a few rooms. Be sure to look at the spider as you pass it. It looks so trippy!
