Henry is touching and very well animated, but it's Carmack's playback tech that makes this. The quality is unlike any pre-rendered content I've seen on the Go, and comes very close to looking real-time. The compression isn't all there and I believe a better bit-rate would have pushed things to nearly identical to real-time quality, but it's a worthwhile trade-off for keeping the filesize down.

My family and I took turns watching this! This is an excellent introduction to a VR movie for those who are new to this technology.

I love this film and it was one of the first things I installed when I bought a Gear VR - it is so cute and the voice of Elijah Wood as narrator fits perfectly. Having a new Oculus Go I installed it also here. But what should I say - the beginning and the end where the story is explained are missing. There is no narration by Elijah Wood any more. This makes the whole thing a little bit strange, especially for those not knowing the other version - they don't even now what the story is about. Is there any way to get the Elijah-Wood-version again?

Incredibly sweet and nicely animated. And the best part is that it still works on Oculus Go! (Post-Meta hot mess)
