First Steps With Hand Tracking

To people who complain that the App needs space, I reply: but why did you buy the viewer if you don't have space? Where do you live in a camper van that you have no room for? I live in a little apartment of two-room and yet I have a play area of ​​at least 3 x 3 m which can even become 4x4 if I move some furniture. You are really boring with your pretentious requests which could lead developers to create increasingly boring games in which you move less and less with your body and more and more with the joysticks. True virtual reality is made to move with your body! Furthermore, with meta quest 3 you can also play outdoors because it will never lose track so stop complaining! That said, I tried the app with hand tracking and I can say that many things work well. Except a few. The remote control for directing the airship works poorly. Guns aren't very accurate obviously. The only one that works reasonably well is the automatic rifle which must be used with two hands. As for the cubes on the table that can be placed on top of each other, you could add collisions so that they can be moved and made to fall even by placing your hand on them, instead so the hand will pass through the cubes except if you don't squeeze it and you grab the cube. Everything else works reasonably well, even paper airplanes work well. The robot dance works well, the resolution on these three seems lower than the controller version All in all it can be a great experience for those who have never tried VR

A bit clunky but still fun

Finally oculus starts to take advantage of hand tracking. I hope they continue to improve it because it’s truly awesome in games like Waltz, and even Vacation Sim. It’s a whole new experience really and this is a way better way to show it off than Elixir

Couldn't get past the guardian

Couldn't get past the first guardian tutorial as it wanted me to walk through my wall. I don't use the boundary feature on my head set as I play seated in a swivel chair, and the constant appearance of the grid lines every time I stretch my arm out completely destroys any enjoyment of VR. The rooms in UK houses just aren't big enough to walk about while in VR. I'm not going to ruin all my other apps just because this one refuses to run without the boundary.
