So creative!

This is an insanely creative adventure game! The idea of standing inside the rabbit hole and watching your main character descend around you is genius. I adore being able to look up and see how far underground we have gone. My only complaint is that I wish the ending was more fleshed out. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this game!

Pretty expensive...

I'm a really big fan of Alice in Wonderland and I just got my Oculus. So this is my first bought game for the Oculus. I love the story and how the girl is dressed. (I've put her on my cosplay list.) But it's pretty expensive for a game you'll only play once. Within a couple of hours it was finished and once you've played it, it's not a challenge anymore. I really expected more, especially after reading the reviews. Sorry 😞

Superb playability

I’ve downloaded about 30 apps from the store and as games go, this is 100% my absolute favourite beyond question. I love every little detail with it. It’s loosely based on Alice in wonderland and the same character types are in there. There are different layers to the game, the main feature is a story about the protagonist finding her pet and getting out of the rabbit hole. But there’s also a side mission to find missing party invitations which in it self is fun and challenging. The style of play is third person for the most part and you watch (/help)‘alice’ (but not Alice) work her way through a warren of rooms and places, solving puzzles (most requiring a good bit of thought or detective work - but all achieveable) and unlocking doors and chests. The story progression isn’t always obvious but the game has little prompts and guides you along. Even without the lovely story/gameplay the visuals are just perfect and as others have said, it’s often like poking your head inside a little dolls house. I often find I get that VR nauseated feeling with movement but that’s never an issue here even after hours. I find the headset uncomfortable before anything else after a while. I think there’s endless playability to this for all ages and there are three independent save lines so three different people can progress on one headset which is great. Although my daughter is desperate for one of us to finish so she can play… which I did today. I think there’s about 10-12 hours of solid gameplay in this fir your first run but times that by the number of interested players and it’s well worth every penny. If I were going to improve this at all there are a few tweaks worth considering… A) some of the rooms are just plain corridors with no function- why? I think putting a little puzzle to open a door or a small challenge independent of the main game play might we worthwhile. B) there’s a glitch in the end section where the hatter asks if you want to go to the party or continue play. It took me automatically to the party and end page with no return. I didn’t want to finish at that point. C) some of the rooms have artefacts you can prod or impact upon, it would be nice to see a bit more of this. D) there’s two chests I’m still to open. Finding it incredibly difficult to solve these two (although the others just held a missing invitation so it didn’t prevent progression, just a wee bit frustrating. E) the ending is a bit lacklustre- you get to the party and then just go home. No challenges or puzzle to solve. No interaction with it much at all. Maybe I didn’t see it? But it just felt a bit like it all suddenly ended and I didn’t get that sense of relief or achievement. If in any doubt… get it, try it. It’s my favourite of all apps, it could be better (by having more content- but then it’s half the price of other apps!) It’s adorable from the first to the last minute and suitable for all ages (though younger players might struggle with the puzzles to progress)

Amazing

I originally bought this game when I had my quest 2. Spent a few minutes and didn't think much of it. Shelved it for a year. Then upgraded to a quest 3. Got bored one night thought I'd give it a shot.. Amazing! The attention to detail was amazing the voiceovers were perfection so true to the Alice in wonderland style I grew up with. The game is perfect. And irritating finding the invitations. Challenge accepted. One of the best games I've ever played.

A stunning diorama-fairytale

This is one of the coziest and most beautiful games I’ve ever experienced. The "dollhouse" format, where you are inside the rabbit hole peeking into different diorama rooms, is just brilliant. It feels like you’re a tiny part of a massive, living storybook. The puzzles are very satisfying, logical, and never feel like a chore. There’s no stress or rushing against the clock—you can just take your time and admire every character and every detail of this amazing world. The story is told so sweetly, and the Wonderland atmosphere is captured perfectly. The music also deserves a special mention—it creates that melancholic, fairytale vibe that stays with you long after. I enjoyed every second of it. This is a perfect example of what a story-driven VR adventure should be. If you like high-quality quests without the rush, this is a 10/10!
