Original Puzzle Game

I had an enjoyable time playing Dino Quest VR. It combines two of my favorite things: puzzles and dinosaurs. Solving puzzles while being chased by hungry, scary creatures makes everything more exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing how the game grows with future updates!

A basic but fun Dino fossil puzzle game

If anyone else get stuck the first time where nothing is grabbing, I restarted the game and it worked as should have. Initially, items were not tracking and didn’t feel the “feedback” that signals item is ready to be picked up/grab. The sound the T-Rex makes is very disappointing. It doesn’t have the classic T-Rex roar or any roar at that matter, it just creeps up on you in silence but has this occasional low rumble growl. Also, the timing of the security gates dropping is not the same. Before the T. Rex showed up, the gate would drop almost instantly. However, while being chased by the trex, I can hear it but the gate wouldn’t drop till moments later or too late as the tree would had closed the gap by then. Was working just fine the first play through but oddly different experience second attempt. Furthermore, would be more immersive if breaking the rocks containing the fossils have more durability. Would feel more immersive if it took idk, 6 hits, instead of a couple with the pick axe to break. Feels too easy and not very engaging. Just finished the first round and even with all this, I’m willing to continue just cuz I’m a Dino nerd and always down for a Dino vr exp. So what this game is about, you’re basically breaking these rocks contains bones to construct a skeleton each round. While you’re doing this, you’ll have encounters and have to find ways to trap the T. rex with different gate switches. There’s literally no settings or options, just straight into the game. for the price, I don’t feel like I’m getting my moneys worth so far. I’d have to recommend this game only when on a discount.

Fun game, a, few annoying bugs

It's a nice game, graphics are a bit soft but some nice puzzles, and though very easy through the first 4 or 5 levels, seems like they will get more intricate each time. Two bugs I've encountered. When traveling down through a cave you are often stuck up on the roof and have to wait a few seconds until it decides to drop you back to the floor so you can continue on. A few levels in there is a triceratops in a cage and you have to feed it to takes its attention while taking fossils, it get stuck half way in the wall instead of going to the gate entrance. One other thing though, the triceratops is a vegetarian,, why are we feeding it meat? 😂. Despite the bugs I'm going to keep the game as it looks like it will be more fun as it goes on, however the devs do need to sort out those two bugs. If they do that, it's worth 5 stars.
