Deceptive trailer with dynamic shadows: in the game there are no dynamic shadows generated by the light of the lighter but only partial dynamic lighting, this game I bought it mainly to see how dynamic shadows worked, also the graphics are not exactly that of the trailer but worse. this trailer was certainly recorded by pc vr, and if i buy a product for standalone i pretend to see in the trailer the graphics for standalone, i wasted some money which i was not compensated for in a deceptive trailer. Dont buy this

Creepy experience!

I enjoyed this one! Pretty similar to the affected: the Manor, but with some puzzle mechanics to it. Although they were pretty simple, I appreciated the addition. The downside is that the game is very short. It took me a little less than an hour to run through the whole thing. Outside of that, it's worth checking out.

Halloween Meh

Update: After finishing this I have to drop the review score down. It has some serious bugs, (and lots of little bugs), that have been ignored by the developers for over three years which is inexcusable. Two items necessary for completing the game when set down or dropped fell through the geometry and disappeared. I had to quit the game and replay a few puzzles to try again. Other glaring bugs include an oven door that uses the same code as a room door so when you open it, instead of swinging down it bizarrely rotates vertically on its center like a door with its hinge in the middle. I do like the atmosphere in much of the game when they didn’t rush the design of an area and do something awful looking like slap a wood grain texture over everything, not even bothering to place the grain where it made sense, and there are a couple of nice scares, but I can only recommend this when it’s on sale for a couple of bucks and you’re bored and want a few cheap scares. It’s a cheap game, but it’s also cheaply built. 😁 Original Review: Currently, this is on sale for a buck so it’s a no-brainer if you’re into spooky stuff. I’ve only played it for a few minutes and I’ve already had my first jump scare. The graphics are decent for a Quest game and on the Quest 3 I can crank the fidelity up to the maximum setting and it still runs smoothly. The interactions are basic but functional so far. The interiors are nicely designed, however based on the brief glimpse of an animated figure I can’t judge the human modeling or animation yet. I’m saving the rest for Halloween. As another reviewer pointed out the trailer is from the PCVR version and is deceptive advertising. Unfortunately so is nearly every other trailer on the Quest store for games where a PCVR version is available. One notable exception is Hellsweeper and the publisher got a lot of criticism from people upset that the Quest trailer didn’t look like a PCVR game. I suppose they wanted to be deceived right up until the moment they put their headsets on. However despite the lack of real time shadows and other effects a PC can handle the atmosphere is suitably creepy which is enough. It’s only on sale for a few more days. Give yourself a Halloween treat and maybe buy a few more for friends. I’ve given away a few already and I still haven’t spent what I would have spent on a cup of Starbucks coffee. I’m rating it a preliminary 3 stars, dead average. After Halloween I’ll update my score. Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃

Great Horror Game

10/10 graph on a quest 2!!! Immersive story and environment. I liked the puzzles and a few times I nearly sh*t my pants.
