I am not used to make reviews and i only wrotte a few during the past years but here i am. I played a lot of different VR games such as Moss, Alyx, PopOne, Phasmophobia, Echo Arena, Walking dead & many other famous titles etc... However, i already played this game more than all the other games. Let me explain. This game can and will be improved. However, it has everything you need to enjoy playing VR comfortably installed in your chair. I am not a big lazy guy but i also know that VR sessions can be very tiring so the gametime is physicaly limited. However with this game you can play comfortably sitted and remains fully immersive. In fact it is more immersive to be sitted. There are many cosmectics, weapons and they recently improved graphics & performance with two new tracks. Frequent updates, solid base & great ambitions such as becoming the VR kart game reference. This game is not perfect but it has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy playing VR while drifting, shotting, throwing things... Drift is the Key by the way. ;) Conclusion: JUST BUY IT A few things that needs to be improved in my opinion: -lobby interaction is broken (Other's people moves looks weird) -Engines needs to be balanced in order to handle harder Track such as Volcanic Jungle and even more to be able to drift on all the maps. -Poison/Hack needs to be reduce because it can break a perfect run & let you loose even if you were ahead from far. It is a great Weap btw but too powerfull in my opinion. -Need to be much much more known by VR community ;)

Extremely Fun but Online is Non-existent

I've gotten this game only recently after the 3.0 update, and so far this game is extremely fun. Lots of sick maps and customization, and a neat career mode with difficulties and challenges to do to unlock cool customization. The driving is awesome, and yes, it feels like a Mario kart game. The game play is the best part about it. I saw a review that talked about micro transactions, as of this review, you can unlock everything through playing the game with some locked behind past events. With that being said, the online community seems non existent? At least when searching for players. Most if not all the time, your games will be filled with bots and it's way less fun to play. I don't know if there's been a "battle pass" yet but this game desperately needs something to liven up the community. The oculus store is in desperate need of a great free to play racing game! However, for $25 I wouldn't be able to recommend this to anyone looking forward to playing online. Offline is fun.

Fun, but not for beginners

This is the closest thing to Mario Kart I've found for VR. It was very fun. My only complaint is that I don't like the micro-transaction model on my free phone games, but I understand it. I absolutely hate it when it's included in a game I actually paid for. There are a lot of "pay extra for this item" type of things...which I'm noticing is far more common in VR games than I'd like. Still, I had fun playing it until I took off the headset and almost vomited from the motion sickness...which I've never had before, ever. I was disoriented for several hours after that and had trouble with my balance. The game warns about this often, so it's not their fault, I was just expecting it to kick in while playing, not after I took off the headset and nearly fell into my coffee table! The "comfort level" should be "intense" not "moderate."

An Experience Only VR Can Do

Let me start by saying this... If you're newer to VR, this game will take some getting used to. The motion captured is very fluid and for some, this may cause dizziness or even motion sickness. The Devs did an excellent job by including many optional settings that can help with this. You can also avoid certain tracks if there are ones that affect you more than others. VR takes time to get used to but the more you play, the more your senses adjust. Just don't don't over do it! Now that we got that out of the way... This game is quite AWESOME! I've grown up playing kart racing battle games similar to this that date back to the early 90's. This game does not disappoint. Instead of just pressing buttons, you are now taking aim and even throwing items at fellow kart players. Tracks have obstacles that'll cause a little mischief also. Play the tutorial... Complete the career mode, unlock upgrades and skins to further enhance your gaming experience. As said previously, "this game is quite AWESOME" and must be experienced in a way only VR can do. Let the kart battle begin! 3... 2... 1... GO!!! Vrooooom

I loveeee the game but

I love this game sm! but, I have an issue with it. first of all, I do not get mention sick, ever, at least in game. I don't have any of the protections on, and are just fine but, there is one thing in this game that makes me motion sick and it's the floating loading screens pleaseeeee make them stay in ONE place, the manner in which they follow my gaze makes me sick all other games have them stationary, please follow their lead - otherwise, an amazing game tho :)
