Fun and Relaxing "Dark" Game

This game is a series of 12 escape rooms. It is fairly easy to solve all the secrets. It took me about an hour to finish it. It was fun and relaxing to play. The dark ambience, graphics and music are very well done. I believe this is still at its early access stage and I hope that the developer will add more rooms to it.

Phenomenal Soft-Core Horror Escape Room

This is a really great game, and it is only Episode 1 out of 3 planned (this is early access). First of all, though it may look a little scary, and it has a bit of a Silent Hill vibe, it is really a "friendly" or "soft-core" kind of horror. Hard to articulate. There aren't any jump scares, but you might get startled when you turn around from time to time. The art is first-rate and unique. Part of the joy of this game is just enjoying the art work. The puzzles are fun, fairly straight-forward and you are unlikely to need hints or a walk-through. Each room can be solved either "normally" or "while hallucinating." Some of the puzzles overlap in each mode, but some are also unique to each mode. There's also a photo album of collectible photos, 30 in all (for Ep 1). So, replay value is pretty decent. I highly recommend this game! I assume they will raise the price when all 3 episodes are available and it comes out of early release, so do yourself a favor and get it now. Even now the polish level is high, so don't worry about early release meaning buggy or poor quality, for the most part everything that is there now is at the level you'd expect for a fully released game.

A Dark Trip Indeed!

Just finished the early release of Dark Trip and absolutely loved it! A dark, puzzling escape room game, it is way into the weird, which is where I like to be. Can’t wait for the rest of this to come out. Much kudos to the devs! This was super fun with really trippy graphics and provided a great deal of enjoyment.

Impossible to see details

I am running in Stationary mode and when I go to the second level (the cabin), finding the hook is next to impossible (I know it is there because of some walk throughs) to find. I have tried increasing the Q3 brightness and contrast, but no luck - It is like walking around in the dark. I did make it into the cabin, but the same thing, even with the lamp lit, you can only see the table and some of the valves on the wall. No luck with any details of the generator. There needs to be a brightness control within the game as well as possibly a contrast control. For me, this game is UNPLAYABLE. UPDATE: With some support from the developer, we determined it was an issue with my Q3. Apparently, as i was having problems seeing anything in the game, I turned up the contrast. Which was the wrong thing to do. After turning down the Q3 contrast, I am now able to see the scenes and the details. I am looking forward to continuing my saga through Dark Trip. And thanks to the developer for the support.

Good, only the 1st Episode.

I really enjoyed this. Dark and a bit trippy. However, since this is on early access, there is only the 1st episode to play. A couple of hours playtime.. Update Needs a hint system. I suck at puzzles. I had to give up on the first room of the mental lab - the part with the lady on the wall with the electricity. No solutions online. Shame, I wanted to see the other rooms.
