Command VR brings two classic 90s real-time strategy games into mixed and virtual reality. Lay the battlefield on your real table, or step into a command bunker in VR that reacts to the war you fight.

TWO WAYS TO COMMAND

Mixed reality: the battlefield lies on a rugged field display on your real table. VR: a command bunker with a situation display, monitors, gauges and consoles. One button on the display switches between them, behind a sweeping holographic grid. A BUNKER THAT FIGHTS WITH YOU Under attack, red alarm lights sweep the room. Low power dims the lamps, a lost radar turns the big screen to static, heavy hits shake the ceiling. The announcer speaks from the wall, your units answer over the radio. Win, and the bunker lights up; lose, and smoke fills the room.

HANDS-ON COMMAND

Point and click with your controller’s laser to select, move, build and attack. Grab the field display like a map, tilt or scale it. The build sidebar stands beside it, wired with a coiled cable. THE ORIGINAL CAMPAIGNS Both games’ campaigns with briefing movies, music and voices, save and load, and a choice of sharp or smoothed pixel art.

BEFORE YOU START Command VR contains no game content: on first start it downloads the game data released as freeware (about 800 MB per game). An unofficial, non-commercial fan project built on open-source game code (GPL), not affiliated with or endorsed by the original publisher.
