Cake Or Fake? is a fun and original VR game where you cook a cake, decorate it, then get inspected — and the chef has to decide which cake is real and which one is fake. The concept is simple, creative, and instantly enjoyable. The execution is solid, and making a cake in VR is surprisingly satisfying: cooking is basically instant (no waiting, no mess, no cleaning 😅). Decorating is also a highlight and adds a lot of personality to each creation. Easy to understand, quick to jump into, and full of instant fun — a great little game to play solo or show to friends 🎮✨

Make some cake and decorate it

Making a cake isn’t that difficult. Is is more difficult when the rolls are changed. That you have to choose the real cake. Much harder. Rounds are small, but very easy to understand what to do. Making cake, coloring cake, pairing donuts… Looking forward to discover new rounds.

Great Fun

I honestly didn’t expect cake or fake? VR to be this much fun but wow, it completely hooked me from the first round! The whole concept is simple but genius: spotting what’s real and what’s secretly cake is way harder in VR than you think. Maybe the colouring can be matched up a bit better with the “real” item. The tension of second-guessing yourself, combined with the satisfying moment when you slice something open, makes every round feel exciting and hilarious, I’d like to see the “slice” actually go right through the cake. The visuals are colourful and clean, performance is smooth on Quest, and the controls feel really natural, perfect for quick sessions or showing off to friends and family. It’s also an amazing party game; everyone loves shouting their guesses while watching you play. Whether you’re a casual VR player or a seasoned Quest veteran, this is one of those games that’s easy to jump into but hard to put down. Needs a bit of work but for its price it’s great. Highly recommended – a must-have for your VR library! 🎂🥽
