Just what I needed

First, even though I am giving it 5 stars, I do believe it needs more music. I am just not the type to sit and choreograph to music I bring in. I also realize that this takes time with a small team and to maintain the quality of the choreography this game has. Also I am newer to VR fitness so I don't have much to compare it to in that realm yet. I needed a way to make fitness fun. I do not like exercise, it is boring. I don't like feeling tired and miserable when I am done. I've tried watching videos while on the treadmill or bike. I've tried exercise videos because I personally need the guidance, I'm not good freestyle. I've tried outdoors but it always seems like a chore. This game has keep my interest, the music is motivating, and trying to improve the score even more motivating. I really like the effort put into the choreography that is in the game. It works well with the songs and you can tell it isn't just computer generated. It has thought behind it. I was worried about VR fitness at first because there are only hand controllers on the Oculus, but the red walls that make you jump and sway or duck are great to get the rest of your body involved too. The different levels also make it playable and enjoyable to me, who is so very not in shape and a bit older. I can ramp up the level as I, hopefully, get more fit!

Excellent fitness game

I love this game so much, but let's be clear, this is a fitness/cardio app more than a game. I've been playing this as my workout every morning and trust me when I say this one makes you sweat. I've lost 5lbs in 2 weeks. Best Saber is really fun, but you don't move much. Synth Riders has great tunes, but it's more of a shoulder workout. Audio Trip is intense... all core and cardio. You are constantly squatting, moving side to side, and really reaching far for the targets. I burn about 400-500 calories in a half hour. On normal! I find the movements to be excellent as well. It feels natural and more "dancey" than others. The only thing is I wish it had more songs. The songs they have are excellent, but doing this daily as my workout means the limited songs are getting repetitive. I'd pay for a song pack!

Fun!

The choreography on some of the songs are on mark! I was a bit skeptical but the wife wanted it to get a fun light cardio workout. It turns out it's pretty fun and a good workout! If you liked Beat Sabre you'll probably like this. The moves are more complex but if the song has good choreography it actually feels like you are dancing with the beat! After playing it for a while most of the songs have really good choreography! Out of all the rhythm\music games we have this is the one that makes you feel most like dancing! It's also a great workout as you're always on the move! I can't dance at all and feel very awkward on a real dance floor. This game has given me the feeling of what it is like to dance even though I'm sure I don't look great doing it! I've seen several reviews stating this and I can't imagine a greater compliment than this to the developers! Glad we bought it. Wish they had more songs though. Sell an expansion pack with more songs! I'd buy it!

I love it!

I have been playing every night for about 30min to an hour and every morning before I get ready for work. It’s perfect because I usually won’t give myself enough time for anything extra in the mornings. It’s so much fun and such a great workout to get you going. If I only have 10 minutes, I choose a short song. Either way it gets your heart pumping and ready for your day. Who knew I needed this in my life 😁

Trippin' good!

I didn't know what to expect from this game, but when I tried it I was really impressed! It's like Synth Riders, but whereas that game makes you vibe, this game really focuses on making you actually dance! It's harder than I expected, but once you get in the zone it really clicks! I'm an underground Hip-Hop head but I still love all of the tracks on here in different ways! Makamba is my...jam...ba(?) At the moment! Haha. This gives you a good cardio workout too! There's a bunch of songs and styles. It always manages to keep things fresh! This game has really helped lift my depression as well and gets you moving! Give it a try, even if you're not a dancing person. Who knows, this might make you one... Plus, no one is watching...except maybe the postman through the window or your family coming home while you were busy busting moves...? But yeah, give this a try! And devs, keep developing!
