A masterful and compelling adventure in

We’re looking at an excellent port of the PCVR version that runs beautifully on the Meta Quest. The game looks great (even better with Quest Games Optimizer), the mechanics are smooth, and the combat is intense and engaging with badas moments. It’s dynamic, makes great use of verticality, and the puzzles are just as satisfying. The gear customization keeps you wanting to do more and unlock everything. Overall, it’s a very enjoyable experience that will keep you hooked for a good ten hours or more!

Just very good

I like this game very much. I am not a hardcore player, who tries to get at fast as he can at the end. I am more a player that investigate everything, try to do all my missions. Slow and steady. Lucky for me that you can choose the difficulty of the game. ( I choose ‘novice’). Exploring everything at ease. Try to collect all relics. And kill the enemies. I enjoyed every second when I was playing. The graphics are so good. In the beginning I had some problems with the controls. But after a few tries,it went better and better.

Easiest Five Star

Absolutely blown away by pretty much everything, the enemy AI is a joy to see, when they run to take cover, pair up and flank your position, really well done. Graphically it looks gorgeous for standalone VR, many people tend to forget that this is running (incredibly smoothly) on what is in essence a mobile phone strapped to your face. Every single mechanic works flawlessly, in fact sometimes too well, as I accidentally throw valuable items from my inventory and then have to scurry after them lol. The games level area's are huge with crazy amounts of cleverly hidden nooks and crannies. Easily my game of the year so far.

Brilliant !

I'm a 74 year old grandma. I had the time of my life playing this game on normal mode. The learning curve is steep. In the beginning there is a lot of huh ? , what the heck does that machine do ? How do I install this mod ? But, hang in there, figure it out and take your time. You will be rewarded. The best game I've played yet , and I own over 100 . Thanks for this game !!

VR Game of the Year 2025

Arken Age is a sure-fire candidate for VR Game of the Year, regardless of platform. The game has everything you need: beautiful graphics, exciting combat, an interesting story and enjoyable exploration. Quest 3 port is fantastic, it looks great and runs very smoothly. Great job, VitruviusVR, I can't wait for your next game :)
