Arcade but with a K

Ark & Ade is one of the best games on the quest and probably even in steam. I say that because I am a quest user and I like being able to load up a game from my headset rather than having to connect to a PC to play a game. Anyway, have any of you played Space Pirate Trainer's Arena mode? Ok well this is the Arena mode but on steroids. I plan on making a YouTube video talking about the game but if you are looking to get into VR, make this one of your first games. I'm pretty sure everyone has had that fantasy of being sucked into a video game, this is the closest to that in terms of narrative. Make sure to look at the scattered newspapers and collect the gold letters. Learn the alternate pathways in the levels and you will literally become God.

Cool Style

The game has a really nice vibe. The only thing holding it back for me is the fact you can't seem to change movement to your head. I get dizzy when it follows your off hand. 5 stars if that ever comes or if im dumb and missed it in settings. Update: Devs responded, and I did miss it in settings, so thanks for that. Waaaaay more fun now. 👍

An Ode to Classic Arcade and Tron!

For a while now I was wondering when I would be able to play a shooter on the quest that was more reminiscent of the old classic arcades. I will be honest this was a good mix of modern technology and good old classic fun. Together you have a love child of retro and modern styles perfectly balanced and blended to one nice package! The game is straightforward and to the point, grab your gun and start shooting anything that is labeled in red. Anything else is either a power up, a secret or something that you can use to your advantage to defeat enemies. The enemies are numerous and can easily swarm you if you're not careful, you need to think fast and make sure to keep your health as high as possible, you're going to need it. One thing I appreciate most is the level of detail with the bosses. Each one offers a good enough challenge as well as enough immersion to make this feel like a great bombastic battle against titans as opposed to just another enemy. I also love how they are reminiscent of Tron's Master Control Program, where they are large and have that low polygon look, yet carry great power and can overwhelm you with sheer power. I also appreciate the intricate details surrounding the Hub menu, where your character lives supposedly in a basement, filled with newspaper pieces detailing what is going on in this world. It gives me a bit of a Matrix feel. Plus you can also recognize which trophies you have and which you lack. Definitely am having a blast with this, I highly appreciate the level of work you guys put into this and hope to see more in the future from you guys. I absolutely love this, both as a fan of sci Fi movies from the '80s as well as a gamer of the modern era. That and it reminds me of the episode Power Mad from the Fairly Odd Parents back in the day. Always wanted games like thisa and now I have it! Much appreciated for your talent and care with this game!

Cool retro shoot em up.Tron feel,I like.

Good game at a great price and I love the retro look and they way you get warped into the Arcade Cabinet,warp speed affect and the gameplay is really good. Has a Tron kinda feel to it,which appeals to me,even has the Motorcycles,lol,nice. Very different,which is a plus and there are many achievements and bosses at the end of each level.Also the slow motion and shield and all the other extras you collect on the way through each level. I had played the Demo and was looking forward to this being released today. Thank you developer for a great retro arcade shoot em up.5 stars. Just completed this on normal and now move up a difficulty and get them achievements in my basement on the shelves,looking good and I am really enjoying this game. The PC say's 54% completed,so a fair way to go. Enjoy,great game...
