Unique workout

I’m a pretty muscular guy- 6’3 225- and the intense level workouts were brutal. I’d never tried barre before and between the ballerina vibe and the clips of women horizontally curling two pound weights I was pretty on the fence about buying this app. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted- a change of pace workout that hits the muscles differently than lifting weights. The deep core is especially targeted. I was surprised how difficult the core workout was for me. I hit abs pretty hard and try to work my transverse abdominus but the short movements and focus on the pelvic muscles was new for me. I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel like they did a great job with this app. Being able to see the trainer whichever way you look- even down at the floor, was a nice touch. UPDATE: months later I’m an even bigger fan of this app. It’s improved my mind muscle connection to my pelvic muscles in a way no other workout has. Great core workouts as well. Incredible value

Love the experience!

This experience is the next best thing to the Studio. Unlike a the Mirror or other screen-based classes, I can see my form in the mirror and the instructor at all times. However! The app only has 38 short 20-30 minute classes available. The fifth star is in hope they add more soon

Love it!

I am giving this the same review as Club Pilates and Stretch Lab. Very good value for cost...... And stand-alone rather than subscription now! As much as I would like to try some of the big name fitness apps, I will never sign up for a subscription model. The Xponential series is well designed and the genius is in the multiple positions of the instructor. You will see your instructor in 6 different viewpoints: in front of you, behind you to the left and to the right...... and if you look down or up, they are there too. No more trying to contort to see what you are supposed to be doing! I have read that there is disappointment in ⁷the mixed studio reality that although the studio (top half) shows up in color, the bottom half which is your home environment, is black and white. This is true on the quest 2 (which I am using) but in my opinion, does not take away from the experience. I believe that it is in color on the q3. With the mixed reality, you can easily find your Barre, weights etc without peeking under the bottom of your headset. The only thing I wish was better is the menu. There are 50 sessions available in the all classes. But, if you add up the classes in the sub menus, it seems that there are much less. If th⁶e devs could have all of the classes listed in the sub categories, it would be perfect. I also purchased the Club Pilates and Stretch Lab and this review will be identical for them. Planning on getting the Rumble Boxing as well..... Unlikely to get the cycling one as I have no plans to get a stationary bike. The series would be complete if a Yoga one was developed. So devs, if you are listening, please consider Yoga - unless it is already in the works!

If you can't get on the floor don't purc

I had such high hopes for this. I figured barre workouts mean standing workouts. I was wrong. There's pilates style mat work involved and my knee replacement surgery makes that impossible. Oh, well - at least I got it on sale...

Pure Barre – 5 Stars If...

Pure Barre VR is very well made and offers a complete range of workouts to tone the whole body. I really enjoy the sessions and the overall quality of the experience. That said, I’d like to share a few suggestions to make it even better: 1. Please allow us to skip floor-based exercises. I tried using the filter to select or deselect the mat option, but it doesn’t seem to change anything. 2. It would be useful to have the option to skip a single exercise if needed. 3. Adding seated workout classes would make the program accessible to even more users. P.S. I own all the apps in the series, and these suggestions also apply to Pilates and StretchLab.
