Great Interface, super buggy on Quest 2

Love the interface, smooth, inviting, easy to navigate. My issues are with the streaming of videos. Everything worked perfectly on my Quest 2 until the updates just before Christmas…now with most videos that I start to play it will play initially with no issues, then if I attempt to go forward or backward it will close the video out and say “Oops, we’re unable to play that video”. I’d give this app 5 stars if it worked like it did before the updates when it started closing videos.

I love this app, but...

There's a severe performance issue... specifically with thumbnail generation. Unlike other players, Play'a's thumbnail generation maxes out my Quest 3's CPU (I see it through the OVR Performance Overlay) and can eventually cause my room tracking to crash making my headset permanently lose my position in my room until I restart it. Maybe limiting CPU performance for the generation process could help? Either way, this is my favorite player out of all of them for being so versatile and free! I just hope the CPU issue can be fixed!

Doesn’t play downloads.

I downloaded videos months ago and suddenly I can’t play the videos I downloaded in the app. However the ones I downloaded on my browser work fine. Update customer service said they could not do anything to fix my problem. Do not download on to the app or you will lose the content you paid for.

Just terrible.

Uninstalled it to play some games on my VR for fun in 3-D and do you know what happens? It makes me install so much that my VR crashes and it won’t even open the oculus menu anymore. I say do not fricking try this it’s risky.
