With this app I can draw!!

So I’ve been trying out this app and honestly, it’s a really neat experience. The whole idea is to teach you how to draw, from the fundamentals and working through different techniques like proportions, shading, and more. Now, I’ll be straight with you, I’m not very good at drawing in real life. But with this app, I was able to follow the step-by-step guides and actually come out with a picture that looked like the one I was trying to copy. That felt amazing in itself, but the best part is you get a physical copy at the end to keep and display if you want. That’s such a cool touch. The app has a really peaceful vibe. It’s educational, but also relaxing, almost meditative at times. You don’t need to move much either, which makes it perfect for seated play. The guides, explanations, and directions are really clear and easy to follow, so even if you’ve got little to no drawing experience, you can still make something you’re proud of. What I love most is the variety. There’s a wide range of lessons and templates to try, but you can also add your own items, which means the possibilities are pretty much endless. Whether you’re looking to pick up drawing as a new skill, or just want a chill creative outlet in VR, Pencil is definitely worth checking out.

Love thia app! But one detail

This app introduces an amazing concept in augmented reality. I will keep using it as updates keep releasing. Next urgent issue that needs to be parched is an option for disabling the view of the tracked hands. I really dont need that getting on the way of the drawing. And also it overlaps with the virtual picture on top of the paper, making it invisible. If that gets solved, i am coming back and giving 5 stars.

Loved it. Great start with room to grow.

I loved it and my kids loved it! I love what they're doing with this app. I think it's really creative to be able to take online images and turn them into outlines you can sketch. I'd love to see more and more examples of included drawings. Or packs you can buy. There were some drift issues they can continue to improve, but overall, I was impressed. Maybe as you draw those become some of the anchors. One feature that could make this a crafters dream app would be the ability to add some anchor points on a board or wall and then be able to scale up an image onto a wall for a mural or a board to cut out for creating decorations. No longer needing a pro or a projector to make a perfect painting on the wall, etc. Adding this scale up ability, rather than being tired to a piece of paper I think would dramatically increase the value of the app (if done well). Anyway, keep it up.

Very cool app

This app is very cool but it’s also kinda buggy, like while the in app paper is aligned with the irl paper but the tracings hover just above the paper making it a bit harder to use and also the hand tracking is bugged, sometimes the hands freeze in one place. But overall it’s very cool, I can actually draw competent drawings.
