10/10 recommend

I've been playing padel for a while now and have a playtomic 4+ level. This game is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm playing with the add-on racquet and it feels really the same as when playing on court. The drills, minigames and lessons are top tier. I don't have to spend 100€ per practice and can setup custom training sessions for myself. I've added rulos to my game just from here. And there is no motion sickness with the created teleport option which is cool. P.s. I disagree with the bad reviews on here, I have a 2x2m space and I can play everything without issues and you must understand that this is a pre-release so there will be some minor bugs but the owner is very responsive and can help you out directly like he did for me. Cheers!

Great potential!

I have played real world padel for a year without any training. Of course I hard learned to hold the racket incorrectly and I hit all the balls face on. Then I went to a few training sessions and discovered that I am doing everything wrong. After doing a few slow motion training sessions in VR I got good roots for real world training sessions. So I would say that padel vr can help. Minuses: Tracking behind head is impossible due to VR limitations and so I miss some shots because of this limitation. Sometimes the ball flies off really weird - I am a better player in real world. The big problem for me: Due to a bad timing my left controller died. While you say that hand tracking works, I cannot click any game menu buttons with hand tracking to start a new session. I am stuck in the menus with a racket in my right hand.

Must have !! Padel player

Padel VR has become a real part of my training and I can't recommend it enough. It's improved my volleys massively and sharpened my overheads, including bandeja and víbora. The best way to describe it: it's like having someone feed you hundreds of balls non-stop. That kind of repetition is exactly what most of us don't get on court. What it's great for: volleys, overheads (bandeja, víbora, smash), and forehand/backhand placement. The reps you get in a single session would cost you a fortune in coaching hours. What it doesn't do well: the double-handed backhand. Wearing a headset changes how your body turns, so the movement feels awkward. Skip that shot in VR. Important caveat: this is not a replacement for a coach. Learn the technique on a real court first. Get a coach to fix your form. Then use Padel VR to drill that technique with thousands of reps. In that order, it has saved me serious money on coaching and accelerated my progress. Racket recommendation: use a lighter racket, between 250 and 300 grams, no more. There is no ball impact in VR, so you don't need weight for stability. A heavy racket will just strain your wrist and forearm over a long session. If your usual racket sits heavier than that, remove the head guard to shave a few grams. Bottom line: if you already know the fundamentals and want to level up your technique, Padel VR is one of the best training tools I've used. Coach first, drill second.

No good. Don't buy.

Unfortunately after several months of membership I have decided to cancel. Biggest cons is no haptic feedback and no vibration, very bad drills and no space to really play even in a 20m2 room. It doesn't feel anything like playing Padel. I play Padel at a high level and wanted to practice at home. But there's really no space. Even in my large 20m2 living room, it's not enough space to really move around without worry or the freedom to swing your padel racquet around and not break your racquet, wrist or something on the wall. Think about it. Playing Padel in a real court takes up a huge amount of space, not only horizontally, but depth wise as well as vertically for doing overhead smashes or simple viboras. And really, once the bat goes behind your head, the technology doesn't understand so it just messes up. So forget about training a x3 kick smash. Because with a kick smash, the racquet needs to go behind your back like pulling it out of a backpack. So this will never work. Anyway, for me, after several months of subscription waiting for improvements, they never come. So I have cancelled. I hope they improve.
