Sooo close to perfect

***NOTE*** Since I’m the first review I don’t wanna leave anything under 5 stars, but my actual score is 4/5. Positives: Endless pictures to choose from Ease of repositioning drawing board Tools are pretty easy to use and learn Negatives: - The crayon and pencil options need to be fine tuned more. Takes too many strokes to reach adequate brightness. The markers work pretty well though. - Need more eraser options. Take finger to erase large areas. Also tough to erase minor mistakes. - Need an UNDO button. This is a lot like PowerWash VR for me… just a really chill and relaxed game, def worth the $10. Please just fine tune the tools and this will be a banger

Where Creativity Breaks Free

Outside The Lines VR on Meta Quest is a brilliantly relaxing coloring experience brought into virtual reality. The concept is simple—pick an outlined drawing and fill it in—but it works incredibly well in VR There is a tutorial but as it is so smooth and intuitive, I didn’t need it, letting you colour naturally and precisely without frustration. A massive choice of drawings to pick from or upload your own. There are crayons, pencils and felt-tips and a full pallet of color, you can even mix and shade colors and tools. It’s perfect for unwinding—no pressure, no timers, just pure creative relaxation. Whether you want to carefully stay within the lines or go completely off-script, it gives you the freedom to enjoy it your way. A great app for anyone looking to chill out, get a bit creative, or just lose track of time in a calming VR space. Simple idea, beautifully executed. It would be amazing if the dev would introduce a zoom option and also hands to hold the coloring tools. That said still 5 star.

Chill colouring

This is a simple easy one for all ages. Lots of drawings to choose for you to colour in, in the relaxing surroundings. You have pencils, crayons, felts, chisel tip felt… all in different sizes and colours for you to choose from… plus the trusty eraser to rub away them mistakes shh! It’s a nice price for a relaxing experience. I’d like to see some animation added to the outside background… also maybe some birds, wind ect.. Maybe a YouTube video player near you, so that you can colour whilst watching or listening to some of your fave vids/music. And maybe a sit down option.. as at the moment, you have to adjust height of the table

A child’s playground

If you have younger children that play VR, this is just a brilliant vibrant colouring experience for them to get involved in, so many different pictures to paint, I do think it needs some background music to add to the experience to provide that calming factor, but a great start & very relaxing.

Awesome cozy experience

Outside the Lines does a great job in delivering the satisfacition of a coloring book in VR. The dev did an awesome job in creating an experience which feels cozy and made it fun to use the tools. I really had fun in getting creative and watching my progress. The games comes with quite a broad variety of motives to cover and cool tools - for example having multiple pens with different sizes and colors ready at once. The workroom looks cool. Overall for that price a very worthwhile and rewarding experience.
