No Facebook!

Knew it would be a matter of time before Oculus tried forcing this Facebook BS on quest owners. Really interested in trying this out, but I do not have a Facebook account and I do not want a Facebook account.

Lacks content and Forced FB

Great app when they have content for it. The content ive seen was really fun and well done. I watched some NBA games as well as a Post Malone Concert(A bit of it anyways, not my kinda music.) And both the NBA and Concert were really cool. I could watch with others or in my own "Box" So aside froma lack of content and variety, My other pet peeve is the Forced Facebook account. This issuse is my *Only* issue with Quest and its services. There are so many reasons this shouldnt be mandatory, too many to list. Dont need my FB for Instagram... But yeah, Please Facebook./Oculus strongly consider removing the mandatory FB intergration. Please reconsider your position on this. Thank you

This is an Oculus app

It’s called Oculus Venues and so my Oculus account should suffice to take part. Using Facebook might make it more social by possibly sitting you near someone in your contacts if they have a headset and share your interests but at this point that’s a very small group of people. As it is Oculus have excluded a large number of Oculus customers from an Oculus experience they would enjoy for a flawed and ill thought out reason.

Requires Facebook

I really don't like being forced to make a Facebook account to use this app so I promptly uninstalled it. Not interested in that. I don't miss Facebook and I won't go back if I can help it. It's a time vampire and bad for a plethora of other reasons. Come out from among them.

Yes!! Stop forcing to use facebook!

I knew this would happen! Everyone should stop logging in using Facebook to send them a message! We paid a chunk of change for this device and should have the rights to use all the features without Facebook login! They have a power control and I will end up not using oculus just based on this horrible practice. Zero stars here! I may sell my oculus actually and switch to another VR company that lets you have freedom and privacy.
