Has Promise but Ultimately Falls Flat!

I love monsters and monster movies, so when I saw this game, it piqued my interest. What I enjoyed about the game is the atmosphere. You fight the monsters on a dark spooky night outside of a church surrounded by a spooky graveyard. Also included was an additional Halloween themed map that unfortunately was too small to really enjoy. I'm glad they provided a new locale, but it's far too small to fight in. The gunplay was serviceable with only 3 firearms unfortunately. You get a pistol, machine gun, and shotgun. All of which function well once loaded. I say once loaded because that is a point of issue. It can be a real pain to get the magazine inserted into the pistol or machine gun. Its very finicky. Fighting the monsters is easy enough with the gunplay working well. When it comes to turning that is also a point of issue. You have snap turning and smooth turning, but smooth turning even at max is still too slow. This really needs to be improved. Lastly there is no progression. Nothing to work towards, nothing to unlock and no leaderboards to see how long you survived once you died. You play until you die and thats it. Similar games like "Rest In Pieces" cost the exact same amount, but give you weapons to unlock, 6 maps, perks to unlock and level up, avatars, and a couple different modes. While I enjoyed the main level of this game, nothing else really draws me back to the game for repeated play. In the end, go buy "Rest In Pieces" for the same amount. You will have a much better time.
