Great game, could use some improvements.

I’m giving it five stars because I’ve tried a few bartending games on VR but this one has by far the most realistic ratios of ingredients in drinks. This was important to me because I was hoping to use this as a tool to learn. I actually started working as a bartender last month and this was hugely helpful in getting an understanding of drink composition. There are some things that could be improved for sure. The shaker mechanics are pretty spotty and the bitters are near impossible to use. If you’re on bartender mode and don’t place your used bottles on the placemat, the liquor won’t be registered in the final drink score even though you just poured it. It’d also be nice if I could put in my own drinks and the exact recipes that I want to practice with rather than just relying on the AI output drinks based on certain ingredients. I also wish that there was a mechanic for expressing the orange peel on the rim of a drink like the old fashioned instead of only adding an orange twist as a garnish since this is a super important step in making an old fashioned. But if you’re trying to learn basics, the progression of drinks is really well thought out, and your exposure to some niche drinks is a really nice touch beyond your generic redbull vodkas, mimosas, and old fashions.
