I love this app till I tried to play a song. I can’t line up my 88 keyboard . I adjusted the keys to 0 with no luck then up 1 # at a time no luck . So with the keys out of line there’s just no sense . Mybe an update to calibrate the keys by pressing all the C keys one at a time. My keys look like this . C D E F G A B . So when you line up the center of the piano with the keys . Not one C key is in the right spot. PLEASE FIX THIS !

I was extremely disappointed after installing the app. It quickly recognized my Recital Pro keyboard, and setting up the virtual keyboard was easy. I could play and hear all the notes, which was a positive. However, when I started the first lesson, it only recognized the first C note and would not accept any other C notes across the keys. Because of this issue, I couldn't continue with the lesson, and the app wouldn't unlock the subsequent lessons. When I opened the other lesson folder, there was no option to proceed. It simply displayed all the note chords available for practice, with no start button or any visual indication of how to begin the lesson. It felt like a useless app at that point. Additionally, I couldn't find a way to turn off the background sounds in the virtual environments. It was very distracting to hear other music and people mumbling while I was trying to focus on the lesson plan. I prefer immersion over passthrough, so this was quite frustrating. I'm hesitant to go through a bunch of hoops on Discord and then wait forever for a response. Rebooting my Quest 3 headset did not solve the problems . . . sadly refunding.

With MIDI cable, it works really nice, and the piano keyboard setup is very straightforward and easy. What I really love, is that you can learn to improvise on jazz songs! Really nice!

Experienced amateur pianist here. Instant sense of how a song fits on the keyboard, how it sounds, and when I hit a wrong note. Better than sheet music. Metronome/Beatsaber-like experience is both fun and discourages bad habits like slowing down on hard parts or playing the note wrong over and over because you misread the sheet. This is the ONLY way to sight-read music. This app is awesome as it is, but I have suggestions. Turn on note names and fingering labels and autoplay. Turn off the input stopper thing. This should be the default settings. Note recognition didn't work with my real piano at all. I detected wrong notes myself by ear when my real piano didn't sound like the midi. A mode with working note recognition (audio only) and hides the handtracking hands (unless doing menu gestures) so I see my real hands would be AMAZING. In fact, if I could run this game menu with my controllers that mode would be fine. Handracking is a hindrance if it isn't working perfect, the option should be available shut that junk off. Maybe one day it will work well enough to depend on. A shared library of uploaded songs (within the headset app) would reduce the need for us all to duplicate effort of song creation. Just browse and download, or upload to share after making something new and awesome. Simple rating system for contributions. A full-mp3 audio experience would be great too. Like Beatsaber. Instead of hearing a midi when you play well, you could hear a real recording of a pro on a concert grand, or you could hear the duet part and the drums or whatever. The more real-music and game-ified this is, the more compelling it will be.

I have minimal piano training, and within minutes I was playing pieces I never thought I would have the time or the training to play. This is the future of music education. I cannot wait to see more instruments adapt this technology in creative ways.
