LEFT Handed option, please!!!

My only gripe with the game was that there wasn't a left-handed option. I understand that they would have to flip everything to accommodate 10% of the users, but they said they will make this change soon. I changed my rating, but when I clicked on the 3-star reviews, my original post was still there. This game is absolutely amazing! I think once they put the lefty option in, I could play this on hard. WHEN WILL MY PEOPLE BE ACKNOWLEDGE? LEFTY OPTION NOW!

Great game. Seated option?

I’ve had this game for quite a while and I think it’s really good. I do prefer playing VR sitting down though and it’s a pain to have to turn your whole body around to view the stage when you get your praise from the audience or to initiate some key things in the game. This I would think is a very easy fix, even if it’s an option in the menu just in case people prefer the original experience. Not everybody likes to stand or has the ability to in order to play this game. Allowing either one or both of the joysticks to turn your character around using either snap or smooth turning would be fantastic. That being said, the game is great if you like rhythm based games and If you ever wanted to take a crack at being a maestro yourself, this game provides a really cool experience. The controls are responsive and the ability to hold a stick in your hand, really adds to the immersion. Devs, please consider adding either the ability to turn using the sticks or to have it as an option in the options menu. It will give more people access to your game. This game would be boosted to five stars if this was the case.

Great fun!!

As a professional musician and actual orchestral conductor, I was expecting this game to be a humorous adaptation of games like Beat Saber. I was amazed to find how closely it resembles actual conducting and what great fun it is! The departures from actual conducting technique, such as conducted accents coinciding with the accented notes and conducting on syncopated beats are completely understandable and in no way seem out of place. Proper conducting patterns, cues given well in advance of entrances, crescendi, diminuendi and fermati are all brilliantly integrated. I can't recommend this app highly enough!

Fantastic App Held Back by Music

This is one of those special apps that is artistic, fun, and innovative. It’s a rhythm game, but instead of swatting at boxes you’ll be directing a fully visualized and impressive orchestra, via flicking your baton to keep tempo, with the dominant hand, while the off-hand points to activate parts of the orchestra And raising and lowering your palm to modulate their volume. It doesn’t sound like much but hard is SUPER intense. The best part of this game is the immersive details. You are fully surrounded by an auditorium, with orchestra before you and audience behind. The graphics and audio quality are great. At the end of a song, the audience throws roses (or tomatoes), depending on the quality of your performance, along with clapping or jeering. Social media comments also pop up in the air. You can pick up roses off the floor and throw them back to the crowd (acquired skill) or lose your chill and smash your wine glass in celebration or disgust. The whole production is very immersive. Each performance unlocks more songs, stages, outfits for your players, and skins for your gloves and baton, some of which are quite fun. I’m particularly impressed with the Heaven vs hell and battlefield stages/outfits, complete with spurting lava and cannons firing during the song! There is also a good tutorial at the start; you won’t be confused about what to do. And the best part is that no controllers are needed! The hand-tracking works fabulously and adds a lot of immersion and fun. Just remember to hold your baton and make your movements as pompously expressive as possible (that pinky better be out!), for maximum effect! So, why only 4 stars? Unfortunately, the musical selection really limits the experience. While there are a couple jazz songs, all the rest are classical, which have a lot of very slow, boring parts in them and all feel quite similar. The lack of other genres is only made more pronounced by the fact that the tutorial includes multiple modern songs, including rap, and they were amazing! But you only get to experience those for like 30 seconds and then there’s nothing but far less engaging classical… WtF devs? Don’t tease us; give me more of the tutorial! I would absolutely pay for a pack of music like that; it was sick! I would also love to see the cannon-shots sync up with heavy bass notes in the songs, so they’re actually part of it, rather than background noise. And that’s pretty much it; it just needs better, more varied music! Otherwise, it’s fantastic. It plays very well, the atmosphere is excellent. I wasn’t expecting the stage and costumes to change or be somewhat interactive; that was a very pleasant surprise. I sincerely hope they add some DLC non-classical music packs (as well as a few free ones), bundled with themed stages and costumes that react to the music. My wallet is ready to support!

A new favorite.

Five stars only because there aren’t 7. In the dim past when I was a teen, I would blast Vivaldi, Mozart, Wagner, and close my eyes and conduct. When I saw a video ad I immediately bought and installed it. I’m grinning like an idiot. I will be buying all the DLC. Additionally, THANK YOU for supporting us left handers.
