Middle-America, 1999. After a grueling tour that has left them emotionally drained and flat broke, the four members of The New Agenda make it back to their dilapidated home, they have nothing in the fridge, nothing in the bank, and nothing in the future but a whole bunch of questions.
They’re still after an elusive full-length album and they can't even survive a band practice without tearing each other apart. Just when they thought things couldn’t get worse, a supernatural event dubbed “the Feedback” plunges them all into a twisted alternate reality.
In LOVESICK, you assume the role of Sam, the band’s bassist, as he navigates the strange environments imprisoning his bandmates. With each surreal mindscape reflecting the memories, fears, and ambitions of the person trapped within, he is the crumbling band’s last hope.
It’s up to Sam to piece together the mystery behind the Feedback, determine what lies ahead for The New Agenda, and find his bandmates before they're swallowed whole by their own troubled minds.

When I downloaded this game, I wasn't expecting much, just another free game with probably bad gameplay, but when I started playing, the story, the music, it clicked with me, there have been few games to do that, and I read on another review that this was the last game of the developers, so I say this, it was a blast, perfect for a farewell, in game, and for the developers.

LOVESICK exceeded all my expectations for the game. I was first attracted by its distinctive art style, which I truly admire in VR games. Yet, it was the captivating story and gameplay that really kept me engaged, leading me to play straight through the entire three to four hours without a break, as I was having such a great time. The team has crafted a nostalgic point-and-click puzzle game that features a teleport movement system and thoughtfully designed puzzles. While some puzzles may present a challenge, they remain accessible and never veer into the realm of frustration. Even if teleport movement isn’t your preferred style, it’s a deliberate design choice that complements the overall gameplay beautifully, so it’s worth giving it a chance. If you enjoy puzzle games, I highly suggest giving LOVESICK a try.

Alright I’ll say it as a human we get bored of stuff really quick and that’s how I found myself scrolling through the game store looking for something new to find and play cause I had gotten bored of all my other games that’s how I found Lovesick. I was intrigued by the story but I told myself not to get to attached to another free game that won’t be that good but I was wrong. This game was amazing and it really surprised me I was not expecting it to be this good. And like most people if you keep playing the same game over and over you’re eventually going to get sick of it but not with this game. I’ve played this game so many times and I’m still not bored with it that’s how amazing this is. All I ask is that we get more added to the story that would be so cool if we got to see them again after they had some time to themselves away from the band. That would make an awesome chapter two.

If you like adventure games, give LOVESICK a try. THIS IS THE FINAL GAME from indie studio Rose City Games, which shut down in April 2025. As a result, there will be NO FURTHER UPDATES OR BUG FIXES. I encountered a few bugs in the v1.0.1 patch, though none were game-breaking. YMMV. If something does go wrong, quitting and resuming from an automatic save point might fix it. Aside from the disappointing rhythm mechanics and the occasional bug, everything else was solid. The story, acting, music, sound design, visuals, animations, and puzzles kept me engaged right up to the ending—which is somewhat predictable, yet (likely unintended) tragically ironic.

I was SUPER looking forward to this as performed in Bands for 15+ years so just having a vr game themed around a band already had me hooked as soon as i heard about it! Immediately disappointed when teleport AND snap turn was the only way to move. This wouldnt be an issue if at some locations like the table with the candles i didnt have to lean over to reach them becuase the snap point wasnt as close as it probably it needed to be. The Bass playing section was just broken, starting off strumming the blue notes up and down as the controller gave the feedback to show it was a thing and seemed ok, as soon as it got to the song playing, strumming up seemed to work 1 every 10 and half of the strumming down completely missed as if the hit box was tiny, i eent to just constantly strumming without stopping and even THEN notes were still missed. After around 40 mins i will be refunding. Gutted.
