In this horror comedy, you must solve puzzles to save callers from being hunted down by a mysterious killer. Where every call is life and death, can you save the inhabitants of Gallows Creek?
• Unique 1st person narrative: Step into the shoes of a late-night radio talk-show host – new in town and fallen from grace. The Police Chief is dead… so the townsfolk turn to you for help, as apparently you, Forest Nash are the only person in town who can run a phone line.

Explore your surroundings, gather clues, make decisions, solve satisfying riddles, and try to help each of your callers survive the night.
• Retro Slasher setting: Jump back in time to 1987 with this slasher inspired puzzler – explore an authentically detailed radio station and interact with dozens of physics-based objects straight from a bygone era, including a working cassette and record player. Ok, at first when I got this game I saw a really bad review saying that it glitched a lot and that this isn’t as good as other games, but then I realized that they probably had bad internet and well… this ISN’T like other games (like I expect you to die or something) this is BETTER than other games. Also looking at the trailer I thought that all the gameplay is saving that jazz runner girl and Maurice, but oh my god this is so much more. (Also sometimes even though the main focus is saving everyone I just end up trying to throw paper balls into the trash can 🤣) anyways I don’t really have anymore room to say anything else but I just wanted everyone to know this is a good ga- Edit: OH MY GOD THIS IS SO AMAZING PLEASE MAKE A SECOND ONE AND TO MAKE IT EASIER PLEASE KEEP THE SETTING AND ALSO KEEP FOREST AND PEGGY AS THE MAINS also has anyone ever been super like sad or something when you finish a game even though there are multiple endings and you haven’t gotten them all so you could actually keep playing

Dad jokes aside, I got this game a couple days ago and just finished it tonight. I LOVE this game! The acting is incredible, the setting is vibrant, interesting, and well set-up! The whole game sucks you into its world. It was fun to learn about the town, its history and its people. I think the “small-town” vibe helped it feel more personal. So did the passionate acting! The characters are written well, with a diverse set of voices, gimmicks, and personality that is illustrated with every word. The right mix of scary and not scary that makes it fit for everyone. Certain games are tough for me to play in vr because of how real the scare factor is! This game kept me feeling comfortable enough to keep playing, but still paranoid for a killer round the corner! And a story that unfolds beautifully. For the authentic experience, I chose to go through my first playthrough without going back to save states over and over. And there were moments I definitely regretted. But, that helps the experience feel more real, and for the second playthrough, it’s good to know the option is there to go back if you mess up. One last note about the good stuff: As a musician, it was so satisfying and exciting to hear such a killer soundtrack for this game! The music is great and in such varied styles all fitting the 80s. I always appreciate clever and creative music in video games, and I can see a lot of thought went into it here. All the band and song names were great! And speaking of creativity, this game is filled to the brim with it! All the commercials, sound effects like the “The Scream” jingles are packed with heart, and it shows. As for the things I thought could improve, I’d say that (for vr specifically), the lack of a smooth turn option was a bit of a bummer, though I got more used to it as I played the game. I saw another review talk about the arcade machine, and I agree! A missed opportunity there, I wanted to play it in-game only to see that it was out of order. Would love to see something like that be a feature. One last suggestion: I would LOVE to see a sequel to this! Such an interesting idea and plot line, I’m sure there’s so much more potential just waiting to be unlocked with this! Still, if this is where the Killer Frequency works ends, then it was wrapped up well enough for what it was. But I think I speak for everyone when I say, we’d be happy to see and play a sequel to this gem. Sorry about the long review, I hope it was helpful! I want to give you a warning! If you enjoy action or shooter games and dislike story-driven puzzle games, this game may not be for you. However, if you appreciate a well-crafted narrative, you will likely love this game as much as I did! It’s unlike anything I’ve ever played. The game is dialog-heavy, which perfectly complements the story and overall style. While it can be a bit scary at times, it doesn't contain gore or excessive jump scares. You play as a radio operator working the night shift, starting around midnight and finishing by 4 AM, which aligns well with the game's length—another positive aspect. Depending on which characters you choose to save, you’ll uncover different backgrounds in the story. The more people you save, the longer the game becomes. I’m already eager to play it again. Now that I know the correct answers, I’ll have to wait until my memory fades before trying again. Even better, I hope the developers create a similar game or a sequel!

I just got done playing this game and all i have to say is, wow. This game just hit the spot for the game i have been looking for. I got this game for free through meta horizon plus but i would have bought it. If you want a puzzle game with a little bit of horror as you solve mysteries then this is the game for you. It has you solving puzzles and making logical and moral decisions as you try to help save the callers from the town serial killer. And i recommend not reading the reviews that are very low because they all say they were looking for a normal run and kill the monster horror game but if you watch the trailer, it is clearly not that. The next passage contains SPOILERS so do not read unless you want to. The game provides the best horror experience for those who want to be scared but not jumpscared and for those who want an impactful story. The game tries to make you think you will see the killer in the station by making the most creepy atmosphere possible but later you realize it is your safe space, until the killer breaks in. You do not run from him but you do hear him then see him through the glass windows. This games runs for 3 to 5 hours and i totally recommend it for people who want this type of experience.
