Innerworld gives you an easier way to find mental health help through unlimited access to peer support! Find your own happier place—in Innerworld! Our built-for-wellness worlds give you unlimited access to a social VR mental health peer support community.

After passing a short screening, you’ll be able to join peer-led groups that follow a groundbreaking form of group intervention called Cognitive Behavioral Immersion™. This peer-led group approach gives users unlimited access to potentially life-changing mental health help. These event-based group sessions focus on issues that are important to users. They aren’t led by therapists or doctors—in fact, anyone can train to become a coach and begin to make an impact in the lives of others.

Innerworld utilizes the immersive nature of the VR ecosystem to help users defy distance & the physical constraints of the real world, transporting them to their own happier place.

It’s affordable. Accessible. And totally anonymous.

Not Very Inclusive

As an application described as a safe space I was very excited to try this out. After setting up my account and then doing the screening process I was excited to enter the Hub! Once I did so I was greeted by five people and then pressured to speak by someone labelled as a "coach" claiming they needed to verify I was above 18. They placed markers in my hand and when I wrote I had social anxiety and wasn't ready to talk they disabled my push to talk and basically forced me to speak. This basically induced a lot of stress and panic. I had just loaded into the hub and wanted to explore I did not expect to be forced into such an uncomfortable situation and I will not be returning to inner world because it is NOT a safe space if you are someone who has issues socializing.

The most beautiful VR experience so far.

Within the first few minutes of using the app I met a member who was very nice to me and introduced me to one of the coaches. We talked a little and they invited me to a meeting, I told them I was nervous (I struggle with social anxiety), and they told me it was ok If I didn't want to talk. However, I felt so inspired by listening to other members that I was able to share a little bit about me and I felt very welcomed. I had been wandering in other VR social apps trying to meet people, since I thought it would be easier for me to socialize in VR, but suprise! social anxiety translates pretty well to this environment, so, to find a safe place where people understand you might be struggling with something in life, makes it so much easier to open up. I have been using the app for two weeks now, I've attended a bunch of meetings, including one about social anxiety, and I have learned so much from the coaches and other members, not to mention there are other activities you can engage in just for fun. This place has truly inspired me to look inside myself and make positive changes in my life. The worlds are visually stunning and there's a sense of community that makes the whole experience feel like a dream.

Great potential. Updated.

Been in help club for about ~3 months now. I find the daily meetings very helpful. Just like the intro video explains putting on VR and entering into a relaxing space to work thru mental health issues is genius. It works for me better than anything I’ve tried so far. The devs have some great artists and engineers on board. The community so far is outstanding and love the come and go as you please mentality. The various workshops that you can attend are a bullseye for me. Evidence based recovery always made so much more sense than other traditional methods. I wish there was more of these personally. Also, the audio issues can be irritating at times but I know y’all are working on it. 😏 ———————————————————————— It’s been ~5 months since joining help club now. Since my last review there has been a lot of changes. The most important to me is the workshops. They have added more workshops and also have tool-focused meetings. There is still some audio issues but it is improving. The staff listens to feedback and the community is one-of-a-kind. They deserve 5 stars now.

I don't know where I would be without it

Help club has brought me from feeling like there was no hope to smiling every day and waking up with a new perspective! I have spent the last 3 years never leaving my house except to visit my children. This was not due to covid, it was all social anxiety. I have been in counseling for 3 years , once a week , every week. Within 4 months on help club, I have been going out, socializing more and I have a much better relationship with those in my life. Even my counselor noticed the difference! The people I have met have helped me in ways I thought nobody could. Knowing that there are so many people out there who share the same issues and understand exactly what you're going through is a huge support! A complete life changer! Totally non judgemental place where you truly be yourself (you know, the one we hide from everyone else) . If you are having any emotional or psychological issues in your life, trust me you NEED THIS!

i have been on the apo for couple weeks now and have been finding it very useful. there are different meeting everyday with different setting. I’m a very shy person and new to the VR world but will continue to learn and find my comfort zone. Make sure you visit their discord server! Also they have a very useful calendar schedule where you can add to your phone calendar to keep up!
