Good app

With the recent update the image quality has been improved, the comics are centered and a bit curved and, definitely, the app has become useful. It's not perfect yet, but it's a first step. . (tested on Oculus Go)

It still needs a lot of work

It does read cbr and cbz files fine. Importing data is via USB only or downloading from a website into the download folder. You then have to import the files one at a time by looking at each file for several seconds while the circular progress bar fills up to be sure that is the file you wanted to highlight. Basically it's really slow and tedious. If your comic books done have clearly labeled cover art you cannot tell which one is which chapter of which volume. Sitting alphabetically helps very slightly. Again you have to gaze at a comic several seconds for it to open a preview to show a zoomed in view of the cover art instead of quick pop ups using the pointer and showing the name of the file as text under the image which would have been fast and convenient. I am hoping it improves. It would be nice if it could connect to network drives, ftp, or even ubooquity servers to load files. It would be good if it groups chapters together in volumes

No LAN ftp support

Good in terms of cbr and cbz compatibility, but there is no support for LAN sharing. I don't add my entire comic library onto my Oculus Go, so as to avoid filling up my device storage. I keep my library on my PC in a network-shared folder, so I can access my comics on my other devices on my network by simply using ftp to get whichever one I want. It would be nice if the app could scan ftp folders/drives on the network for comic files.

It's not so good for a large collection.

I'm gonna give it 3 stars because in terms of functionality it does what it is supposed to. It takes you ti a peaceful atmosphere where you can read your comics in peace. Now for the downside. If you try to import a big comic library it will freeze up and then freeze again if you try to go back into it. You're left with having to uninstall the program and try importing again. The only solution to trying to import a big folder is to do it one book at a time, which is rather tedious and will drain your battery before you finish it you're using a GearVR. I see that the team here is working on this project so I hope the problem of large libraries is one they fix. A couple of other things that I think could make this app better is the ability to sort your comics by folder like ComiCat does. The ability to use the remote would not be bad either.
