Future updates? OWNERS PLEASE READ

This game is really fun! But missing a few things, like a bridal when riding it just would make the game better for me. Also a halter so you can lead your horse around without riding them! Another thing for me is the horse just stands still, it can’t drink or eat and if they could make the horse move its head or or turn around to drink or eat that would be great! Otherwise I love this game and with these new things it really would be the best horse game ever.

Nieces will love this horse game

This game is a surprisingly calming, hands-on horse-care experience. At first, I found myself awkwardly stepping around the manure, but once I cleaned it up, I felt this odd, unexpected sense of accomplishment, like checking something off a to-do list. From grooming to dressing up my horse in cute accessories, there’s a relaxing, everyday satisfaction in all the small chores. It’s definitely something I’m excited to show my nieces, especially since they’ll love the whole process of caring for their own horse and taking it out for a gentle ride. For now, I’m leaning towards a solid four out of five. It’s already a great foundation, but there’s room for it to really shine, like making sure the horse keeps its accessories when you ride and adding more fun, interactive elements around the ranch. If these improvements roll out in future updates, I’d be more than happy to bump up my rating.

This game is amazing and It feels as if you have a real horse! Its a great game worth the money. I absolutely love this game, 5 stars for sure!

Reminds me of childhood riding lessons

I would have gone crazy over this kind of game as a kid when I was learning to ride and wished more than anything to have a horse of my own. Being able to reach over and pet the horse feels so much more satisfying in VR compared to more traditional PC and console games. I haven't seen any other experiences like this for Quest, so finding Horse & Hoof was such a nice surprise! I really enjoyed hanging out in the barn in a relaxing environment that put me at ease. Chilling in the pasture with horses was always my favorite part of the lessons, so I would love to see more horse animations added that show the playful and mischievous personalities they sometimes have. Seeing the holiday decorations is also nice because it gives me the sense the developer will be adding seasonal updates, and that's a nice reason to come back and check it out regularly. The turning and slowing down during the riding lesson felt pretty realistic and mimics the same gesture you would use to turn a horse using the reins. More settings for comfort such as adding a turning vignette and snap turn option would help reduce motion sickness for users who are more sensitive to that. There are several areas for improvement such as increasing the realism of the tack, grooming equipment and other details, but this is expected since the game is still in early stages of development. I think there is a lot of potential for the game developers to build on the current features and include a variety of different riding lessons and trail rides in the future. I look forward to keeping up with updates as it evolves!
